You normally like babysitting, but your latest job is for a couple of terror children. They have the energy level of chimpanzees. You need the money, and their parents keep calling you to sit, but is it worth it? And if you take the job, how do you keep them under control?

First thing's first: How you get through this all depends on how you look at the situation. Are you gonna take this as a little challenge or are you gonna pass it for the next babysitting gig? Once you figure that out, you’ll either find the motivation to keep on truckin’ or move on.
So if you do take the job, you have to remember that high-energy kids need to be kept occupied. If you can, take them outside and play tag, or let them race each other. Once they get their energy out, they’ll be easier to handle.
Remember that kids love to eat. If you want them to settle down, give them a delicious snack and you’ll be able to think about what you can do next. Kids will listen to you as long as they see you as a friend and want you to play and talk with them.
Don’t spend too much time telling them what they’re not allowed to do. Instead, tell them what they can do and show them how much fun you can have together. If they continue to behave badly, remind them that when their parents get home, you’ll tell them how badly they behaved and there will be consequences. Sometimes a tiny threat will go a long way.
