Try to drop a pencil or paper near him and ask him to pick it up for you. That way you can get a conversation started. Or, if you have time after class before the bell rings you could try staying, "Did you get the homework? Because I couldn't hear him (or her)?" Good luck!

I have a quick tip to add that has worked for me. I always sit next to my crush in literature class. I learned that the best way to start a conversation at the end of class is to ask for help with so homework. This is my experience: I have a bit of trouble comprehending reading. Since I sit next to my crush, I ask about what is the answer to a homework question or what did a part mean. This can apply to all classes.

im lazy but not that lazy...i can pick up my own pencil, thank you very much. i came here because i thought it would be better than my friends suggestion (ask to borrow a pencil; although it wouldnt work because im practically known for being "the nice girl who always has extra pencils to give people and who's a pushover who doesnt expect you to return it", but whatever i guess i have to wait until HE asks ME for a pencil) but i guess im proven wrong.

Mod Mod Mod I like this guy we r friends. My best friends forevers think that we should get together already (without knowing that I like him). He always talks to me and includes me with his friends. We dont talk outside of skool. He has a cell and an email... How can I tell if he likes me without asking him cuz im shy
Hey girl, just watch the things he says and does around you. Is he really flirty or forever complimenting you? How is his body language? Does he try to sit close to you, or touch you? Paying attention to things like this will give you hints on how he feels about you. Hope this helps!
