We Tried It: Practicing Yoga in the Morning


I discovered the cure for long days that just seem to drag on. I know it may sound impossible, but waking up an hour early to exercise and get in some yoga can honestly transform those long days.

I love to do yoga in the morning. It’s great for your body, but isn’t too challenging if you’re still a little tired. It gets your body relaxed, but toned at the same time. So whip out that mat and set your alarm because, believe me, once you try it once you will not be sleeping in again.

Working out in the a.m. provides you an abundance of energy that will last all day. You are truly ready to conquer the day after a good morning practice on the mat. Because teens need plenty of sleep, you’ll have to hit the sack earlier. But late nights never actually do a body good, right?
