Help! I have no idea what to get my crush for Christmas.

As with all things in life, it’s best to be thoughtful. For every dollar you can spend, take one minute to think about what the guy would appreciate. The boy lives and dies for the Knicks? Replace his ratty old hat from sixth grade with a cool New York lid, and you’ll have one happy guy. It’s a lot cheaper than sodas at The Garden. Guys expect the obvious—do something unique to set yourself apart from the crowd.

 

Bill: Dave’s on a roll here, so I won’t upstage him with my brilliant ideas. I’ll just go simple—food. Guys love it. Bake something. Really go nuts and make something from a Martha Stewart mag, like cheesecake or gourmet cookies. I know. Sounds hokey, but you can’t miss with food.

MOD MOD MOD! I'm getting mixed signal!!!!!! so there is this guy I like at my church. We hung out a lot at my church retreat and got to know him really well. During the retreat, some friends asked me who i thot the cutest guy was out of all the guys(in front on him), and i thot he was the cutest so i had to say him. I got his number from a friend and I have been texting him for since. When I see him at school and at church, he blushes and smiles and looks at me a lot. But them I had another friend ask him who he liked, and he said a girl in his grd. (he is in 8th, im in 7th) I think he likes me, but if he does, y wud he say he likes some one else? Does he like me? I have known him for a long, longtime. We used to hang out as little kids and our brothers hang out a lot. What should I do? Oh, and I want to get him an easy Xmas gift. What would be a gud present?

 

 

Hey chica! There are a lot of reasons why he could have said someone else. He could have been embarrassed, shy, or he could honestly just like that girl. The only way to find out for sure if he likes you is to start talking to him more, and ask him! Or, at least hang out more as friends, so that you can get a better read on him. As for a Christmas gift. Why not get him a cute card and bake him some cookies? Simple, and not trying too hard Smile

i posted a comment (on a different page) earlier (wayy earlier, actually) about what to get my bf for christmas? annnnd, you suggested that i get him a mixtape or make a cd of music that represents our relationship? well, that might mot work, since we don't really talk much (out of being nervous...) so it would probably be a blank CD or maybe "silence is golden". i know he and his family are big Auburn fans.... but then again, we're in NC, so its harder to get Auburn merch. any other ideas? thanks!

Hey girlie- You should definitely stick with what your parents say. Facebook is a fun network, but it can be a dangerous one too. You don't personally know the man, so never tell him any of your personal information- like your full name, where your live, what school you go to- or anything. In fact, if this man keeps talking to you, and it's making you uncomfortable, you can always delete him from your friends and set your Facebook profile to a private setting. That way, only your friends can see the information you display on your profile!

So i asked him if he was looking at my boobs and he said uh....also I asked him if he was going out with me because of my boobs,and he said no in a shrill voice.So I walked off and later in class he gave me a note saying fine yes.I was completley morified! Hey girly! He might have realized that he was in the wrong. I would talk to him about it and let him know how much it bugged you! If you still like him, give him another shot, but make sure he knows that you don't want to date him if it's only superficial like that.

Hey girlie. Get him something that shows you know what he lies! For example, do you know what his fav sports team is? If so, get him a hat with the team logo on it. Try and ask his friends of things that he is into, and go from there! People like gifts that shows that the person giving them really pays attention to them and listens!

Ok so I have a boyfriend, he's REALLY popular and I really click with him. Last night he asked if he was aloud to say he loved me and then he said he did. We've been together for two weeks but it feels like we've been this way for months.I've intorduced him to my parents and now he wants to introduce me to his. Is my relationship going to fast? and is it ok that there's another guy that loves me and I love him but I also love my boyfriend. I'd die for both of them but it makes me feel akward because the guy I'm not with I fell in love with and the only reason we never dated was because I was to young to date and he was 18. Don't feel bad! A relationship of any kind {whether it's casual or serious} takes work and, if either of you isn't making a serious effort to see/talk to each other, it's destined to fade away. Try getting in touch with your BGF and talking about the situation, then see how that goes. You could either a) decide that you want to try harder and get back that "spark" you had before, or b) decide it would make you both happier to be single again. Neither is right or wrong - you just have to decide what works for you <3

I really like this guy ty hes hilarious easy to be around and super athletic. The only problems are that a.)One of my best friends like him too. b.) It's tough, but when we like someone we always have to weigh the pros and the cons of actually telling them we like them. Sometimes everything works out and it's ok to do so, but other times there are big consequences that could come about if we let it slip. This sounds like one of those situations. I wish I could help more than this, but you need to carefully consider what it would do to your friendship if you tell him - and then decide if you're ok with that or not. Sometimes it's worth it, but other times it's better to try to focus on other things {meeting new guys, having fun with your girl friends, etc.} until the crush dies down a little so you don't break a good friendship in the meantime. {Also, don't stress about the situation with your best friend liking him - she'll take the hint eventually if he isn't crushing on her back!} I know it doesn't seem like that's possible now, but you'd be surprised what some time can do! Hey girl!  First, remember that it's completely normal to be more comfortable talking to your BFFs than to new people.  Some awkward moments are bound to happen, and that's okay!  At the party you can ask about his plans for Christmas or break, or what prezzies he's hoping to get.  You can also ask him about school, what he likes to do for fun, sports, movies, or music.  Just go for it!  It will get easier the more you practice. Ooh, that's exciting!  It's hard to say for sure what would be good without knowing the guy.  That's why it's important to think about what you know about him.  For example, if he has a favorite band, you could get him a poster of them for his room.  Think about his interests, or anything special you two have in common.  As long as you put some thought into it, I'm sure he'll love it. If neither of these guys are available, it's probably best to just get to know them as friends.  And keep your eye out for other nice guys who aren't taken at the moment!  I don't know how formal the dance is, so you may want to talk to other chicas to see what they're wearing.  You can never go wrong with a cute dress, though!
