3 frizz-busting tips PLUS a hot hair giveaway

Don’t over wash. Frizzy locks tend to be dry, so they don’t need to be washed everyday. Gradually work your way down from washing it everyday, and that frizz should ease off. If necessary, spritz a little dry shampoo on your roots on the in between days.
 

Avoid the heat. There’s no need to add more fuzz.  Lay off the blow dryer and let hair air dry. If you must blow out your locks, use the cooler settings.  It also helps to use thermal-protection products and a diffuser before layin’ on the heat.
 
Get a trim. Split ends are totally obnoxious, and def don’t help out with the frizz.  Chop them off! Get a trim at least every 3 months to keep your hair healthy and take the dead weight off your head.

MOD MOD MOD! My hair is so frizzy and curly that I have little strands of hair that stick up on the top of my head like little pieces of hay in my hair. I have been shampooing and conditioning like I have been told to do, but nothing works! What are some easy tips to use that won't use my money or time when I'm in a hurry? And if I did have time and cash, what are some helpful and possibly cheap products?

 

Hey girl!  One tip for frizzy 'dos is to make sure you're not washing it too much.  I know you said you've been careful about shampooing and conditioning, so that's great!  Save it for every other day if you can, and look for shampoos/conditioners specifically for frizzy hair.  Also, next time you get your hair cut, ask your stylist if there's a style that would work best for your hair type.  He or she might have an idea of how to cut it so you have less sticky-out strands.  For when you do have more time or money, check this article for tips and products:  http://www.girlslife.com/post/2010/11/09/tame-curly-hairstyles.aspx. xoxo

i try to shower on mondays wenedsdays and everyother saterday and sunday. i even blow dry on cold!!!!

I wash my hair in the morning so I have to blow dry it. How do I prevent the ends from flipping out at the ends? I have a round brush, and I heard that those help, but I'm not sure which way to brush it out. Please help!




Hey girlie, while your blow drying your hair pull it out straight with the brush so that you're drying it straight. That way it won't flip out anymore.

hey girl, try blow drying your hair after you shower and also try applying a straightening serum to your damp hair which may make it straighten easier.

my hair is super curly and i like to straighten it sometimes, but whenever i do, it takes at least an hour and thirty minutes! and then about two days later it gets poofy, so i have to wash it outFrown got any tips on how to straighten faster and keep the poof away?

my hair is wavy but i want it to be curly but not like shirley temple curly i want it to look kinda like taylor swifts hair, and my friend uses this gel stuff that curls it for her anyone suggestions for a good brand to use???







Try using tousle me softly by herbal essence or wavy hair gel by garnier gructis style. They are sort of cheaper than most brand names, but still work just as well! xoxo Kerra

So there's this girl at my school who CONSTANTLY glares at me. Anytime we are in the same room or area, she gives me this really evil look! She's been doing it for the past THREE YEARS! and I have no clue what I did to her! I've tried talking to her about it, but she just glares at me! And she goes out of her way to glare at me! It's really distracting during my English class, and she sits on the other side of the room! I have tried talking to her about it, and I am super friendly and polite to her but she just glares at me! I am not sure what to do about it anymore, and all of my friends agree with me that it's SUPER creepy! Help!




Hey girlie, just ignore her. There doesn't seem to be anything you can do to make it stop so just try to not let it get to you.

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD ok, so i have two besties, charlotte and tiffany. We all r besties together, but lately, whenever tiffany leaves, charlotte starts talking behind her back to me. I like tiffany just the way she is, and i dnt think she has done anything rong to char. but when tiffany is here, tiff is so sweet and nice, but if she had to favor me or char, she woudl favor char. and char acts all nicey and kind, liek nothing is rong to tiff. I dnt want to talk behind tiff's back, but im afraid dat if i agree with char, she wont be mi bestie anymore. should i tell tiff that char is talking behind her back? im afraid dat if i do, and char finds out, char will say ive been talking behind her back too, which i have been saying at the beginning when all this started. What should i do?????

 

 

Hey chica! Charlotte doesn't sound like such a good friend. If she's talking about Tiffany, it's very possible that she could be talking about you too. I would tell Tiffany what Char is saying...

luckily my hair doesnt frizz! i wash my hair every other day. I use tresemme dry shampoo foam (the spray probably works better) on the days i dont shower. try using aussie 3 minute miracle (a super deep conditioner) each time you wash your hair. before ever conditioning, squeeze out as much water as possible so your hair can really soak up the conditioner, plus loads of shine! Smile need advice? ask me on anything.

My BFF has hair exactly like that and its pretty frizzy a lot of the time... she does everything explained in this article but it never works. Maybe it only works on some people?

MOD! last year i thought it was cool to be "bad" and i got into the habit of not doing my homework and stuff. i finally got out of that habit.but then this year i thought it was cool to swear all the time. now im in the habit of swearing! its last year all over again! do you have any ideas of what i can say when im mad? not something like "oh snap" i want to yell something that sounds funny or unique when im mad! but not a swear word!

It helps get rid of the friz and straightens a little. All of the questions get posted but if they are inappropriate sometimes they are deleted
