How can I get a flat belly?



I've had a flabby stomach for a while and I want to have a flat belly. Do you have any tips to help me slim my belly a bit?

Most people don't have totally flat stomachs—having some flab there is pretty normal. But if you want to drop some of it, the best way to do that is to take care of your body by eating well and exercising. To eat well, you don't have to cut out every sweet treat, but trading sugary soda for water and fast food for veggies and lean meats can make a huge difference. 

 

One exercise I really like that works out your abs is “bicycling.” You lay on the floor on your back with your hands behind your head and bring your knees up to about a 45 degree angle. Bring your right knee toward your chest and your left elbow toward your right knee, then switch sides, mimicking pedaling a bike. You can speed it up or slow it down for more of a burn.
