The
2010 American Music
Awards were on ABC last night. Did
you tune in? The show was definitely a night of amazing mash-ups and music from
all our fave artists!
Rihanna lit up the stage
with her hits “What’s My Name?” and “Love the Way You Lie (Part II),” with a
totally new tropical beat that scored a standing ovation.
GL’s favorite Taylor Swift
performed a mash-up of her new song “Back to December” with OneRepublic’s “Apologize.”
Miley Cyrus, surrounded by candlelight, sang “Forgiveness and Love,” and
awesome pop band, the Black Eyed Peas, did a kick-butt performance of their
single “The Time (Dirty Bit),” with a rockin’ dance choreography.
The biggest part of the
night? The AMAs brought back a total blast from the past. We were pumped about the Backstreet
Boys hittin’ it up with New Kids on the Block, singing hits like “I Want it That
Way,” “Larger Than Life,” and The Right Stuff.”
