I have a crush on one of my guy friends, and he knows it. People keep telling me that we'd make a great couple, and when he hears them say that, he doesn't deny it, just stays silent.

He kept asking me who I like, and I admitted that I like him. But when I asked him, he said he doesn’t like anyone. Is he lying?

HIS ANSWER: “I think that a guy who says that really does like you. At the same time, he’s probably been hurt by a past relationship or is just nervous about getting into one.

I would say don’t give up, keep talking to him, and let him know you like him in the things you do. Be there for him and let him know that he can trust you. Sometimes guys just take a while.”

DECODED: Of course, you don’t want to cross the line into needy or overbearing, but boys need support too, and that’s something that many people don’t often remember. Maybe you have a shy guy. Just take it slow and easy and he’ll come around.

YOUR MOVE: Keep being his friend. If you can prove to him that you are in this, and that you really do like him, he’ll probably get over his fears. Boys take a while sometimes, but they usually come around if they can actually be convinced that you like them and can be trusted to not hurt ‘em.

I'm also getting mixed signals from my crush. He stares at me alot and blushes, but he's not very social with me and said he "didn't care" when this jerk-o guy told him I liked him. However, I saw him blush. He tries to avoild me and dosen't want to talk. However, there is aspreading rumor about him liking me, and he does stare at me ALOT. Do you think he likes me or hates me? That happened to me, like my friends asked if my crush if he liked anyone and he said he didn't like anyone.He Knew they were talking about me.That happened in the 5th grade now i'm about to go to the 8th grade and it's still awkward.It makes me cry sometimes since i feel like nothing will ever be the same and it's all my fault since we were great friends.

MOD i was new to my school in the beggining of the year and nobody has a crush on me. alot of kids think im wierd and girls tease me. its not fair!

Hey missy, aww girl I'm sorry. Kids can be realy mean and immature. Don't feel bad, you're not the only one getting picked on. Some people used to tease me in school, and some of those people are my friends now. And a lot of celebrities got bullied too. So just stay true to who you are!

Hey there's this guy that I really like, and I used to be friends with him and we talked all the time. But then I asked him out and now he never talks to me unless I say something really stupid like "I like cheese popsicles" or something, and then he only ever says "What?" and walks away. One of my BFFs is really good friends with him and I asked her if he hates me, and he said that he didn't, but it seems like he does because he ignores me. But then most of the time he looks over and stares at me and once he sees that I'm looking at him, he smiles really big and looks away, and occasionally he'll make eye contact for a really long time. So I have no clue if he likes me or not. Also, he knows that I like him because one of my friends was being a jerk and told him everything that I said about him. So does he hate me because of that? All I really ever said was that he was really cute, and funny.

He doesn't hate you - but he might feel awkward that you liked him before and asked him out, but he didn't feel the same way. Guys like to avoid drama and any awkward situations, so he's probably not talking to you because of that. The eye contact and the across-the-room grins are interesting though. Personally, I would be curious about that! You could try striking up real conversations with him to start talking again, then give it time and see how he acts around you if you're in a closer situation. That'll help you figure him out a little bit better!

MOD! I have a friend and lately we've been talking alot on facebook and msn. He's really cute and i kinda like him. Everytime we talk though the first thing he says is Who do you like? I say no one because i like him and i don't really want to say yet. But when i ask him back he always says another girl. He always says i want her to come on sooo much, and she is the hottest girl i know and stuff like that. I'm just wondering is he trying to make me jealous or something?

Hey girlie, it's possible that he's trying to make you jealous or he might actually like another girl. Take any clues from him you can get to decide if he might be interested in you.
