I'm getting mixed signals

 

 
I have a crush on one of my guy friends, and he knows it. People keep telling me that we'd make a great couple, and when he hears them say that, he doesn't deny it, just stays silent.
 

He kept asking me who I like, and I admitted that I like him. But when I asked him, he said he doesn’t like anyone. Is he lying?

 

HIS ANSWER: “I think that a guy who says that really does like you. At the same time, he’s probably been hurt by a past relationship or is just nervous about getting into one.

 

I would say don’t give up, keep talking to him, and let him know you like him in the things you do. Be there for him and let him know that he can trust you. Sometimes guys just take a while.”

 

DECODED: Of course, you don’t want to cross the line into needy or overbearing, but boys need support too, and that’s something that many people don’t often remember. Maybe you have a shy guy. Just take it slow and easy and he’ll come around.

 

YOUR MOVE: Keep being his friend. If you can prove to him that you are in this, and that you really do like him, he’ll probably get over his fears. Boys take a while sometimes, but they usually come around if they can actually be convinced that you like them and can be trusted to not hurt ‘em.

There is this nice guy on my bus. We always talk and make each other laugh. A few days ago, in class, we were talking about gf/bf and i was talking about him and the guy i sit next to said "Ooo! your dating him!" and i said "No. we are not dating." Then on the bus, I sat across from him and the girl behind me asked if we were dating. We both said no. then she said that we would look good together. I know who he likes and it inst me and I like some1 else. I don't see myself dating him, but I did have a mini-crush on him earlier in the year. I'm just curious why people would think that if we are just friends. I guess we kind of flirt on the bus but its more k=jokes and funny convos.




When people get along really well, they seem to have chemistry and other people sense that maybe youre dating. Theres nothing wrong with it though. Dont stress! xoxo kerra

MOD MOD MOD!!! so one of my guy friends liked me a month ago & started hanging out with me, i kind of like him back, but i've haven't really told anyone. we flirted a LOT, and we became really close. it's pretty obvious i like him too, and we are really good friends. lately, we haven't talked as much, he hasn't been repsonding to texts, and we don't hang out as much..like only at school. i feel like were drifting apart, and he's losing interest, i dont want that to happen! please help? Frown

 

Hey girl! Hmm, sounds like a tricky situation. I'm going through the same thing too! I haven't wanted to bug him, so every now and then I'll text him and say, "Hope you had a good day!" He could be busy, and just isn't as available to talk. The holidays tend to make a lot of people go a little crazy! I'd suggest asking him to talk. It's not fair that you don't know what's going on. Ask him if he's still interested in you, and why things have been different. Good luck, chica!

That's so exciting!  It really depends what you are comfortable with.  You could just keep talking to him and class and getting to know him better.  You could also exchange numbers (if you haven't yet), or invite him to hang out or do something with your group of friends.  xoxo

ok so i like this guy a lot and he knows it. A rumor went around the whole school that i like him. I always see him staring at me now and all of my friends say they think he likes me and there are always telling me that he is looking at me when im not looking. SO I CANT TELL F HE LIKES ME>>>PLEASE HELP!!!
and he sometimes says hi to me or smiles at me but whenever i try to talk to him all of my guy friends always make fun of me so i cant talk to him without someone saying something annoying and pointing it out that i like him!!!! PLEASE HELPPPP!




Hey girl,

This is tough because him looking at you/saying hello to you doesn't necessarily mean he "likes" you. Try to pick up on other signals: does he flirt with ya? Tell you jokes? Does he act differently around you than he does around other girls? Observing these things might be able to help you figure it out. If you want to get to know him better, try talking to him in private - maybe online or through text message. That way, you won't be teased and you'll be able to actually say what you want to say without feeling too self-conscious!

MOD MOD MOD MOD!!!! A guy sits infront of me in french and i like him. I became friends with him and we talk every day. He always tries to make me laugh and taps on my desk and looks down when I look up. The other day when he was in a bad mood he even said that he couldn't talk cause he was afraid he'd hurt my feelings on accident. This confuses me a little and makes me wonder if he cares about me or he doesn't like me?




Hey girlie. If you like this guy, try to drop little hints that you do. Maybe he's shy and needs to know you like him first. If you really can't tell, try talking to him about it!
