Bejeweled Blooming Bobby Pins
Your gals will love receiving these sweet hair accessories. Perfect for a holiday party updo or family dinner.
Makes 3 pairs, or 6 pins
Materials:
6 bobby pins
6 stick-on rhinestones or pearls
12 paper or fabric flowers (we found these at Michael’s)
Tacky glue
How to Make It:
1. Start by pairing up larger and smaller flowers to make a prettily layered
bloom. Place a dab of glue on the bottom of the smaller flower, and affix to
the top of the larger flower. Let dry for about 2 minutes.
2. Add a stick-on rhinestone or pearl as the flower’s center. Reinforce the
sticker with tacky glue so it’ll stay put.
3. Attach the flower to the bobby pin by placing the flower face down and
dabbing a bit of glue on the back, in the center. Place bobby pin on top of
the dab of glue, with the straight side facing you. Press and hold in place
for about 30 seconds. Let dry for an hour.
4. Repeat with the remaining flowers and bobby pins. Mix and match, giving a
pair to each friend!
