Sometimes it’s because they like you. Sometimes it’s because they’re morons. Is the teasing affectionate (sort of funny, sort of sweet) or mean (hurts your feelings)? If it’s affectionate, smile or tease back if you like the guys. If it’s mean, ignore them and don’t give them the power to make you feel bad. And if the teasing starts to make you feel uncomfortable, talk to an adult you trust.

ok so i really like this guy but my close friend likes him to [she told me] and the guy asked me out. my friend and i never made a pact that she would go out with the guy if she got the chance, but i just fell weird saying yes. i never told her i liked him to cause i didnt want to hurt her feelings but now with hole he asked me out thingy im not sure a little help plz!!!




Hey girlie,

If you both never made any kind of agreement that you wouldn't go out with him, there's nothing necessarily keeping you from saying yes. But I think you do owe it to your friend to talk to her first and ask her how it would make her feel. Tell her that you do really like him and want to get to know him better since he asked you out, but you value your friendship too and wouldn't want to hurt her. Just be honest with her and see how it goes <3

MOD MOD ok so word got around that this guy is going to ask me to the winter formal.. i dont really know this guy that well, i mean we were partners in a few classes and my friend said she thought he liked me..but all my friends are telling me i should say no because hes weird. but i dont want to say no to him just because of what ive heard about him.. but then again i dont want to say yes to him incase he is weird like they say. im not really sure what to do. i dont really have that much time to get to know him because the winter formal is in two weeks.. Help!!

Sometimes, when it comes to guys, we have to take risks because we don't know everything about them before going out on a date or to a dance or whatever. But it's only a few hours with him! You'll be dancing, all your friends will be there, and when it's over you can head out. So if he ends up being fun and interesting, you'll be safe - and if he ends up not being your type, you won't have to commit for TOO long. If you wanna say yes because you might wanna get to know him better, I say go for it! Smile

Okay, so there's this guy that told my friend that he likes me. (For the second time in one month) My friend asked me if I liked him. I told her no, but I did a really me thing and told her to tell him I did. He asked me out and I never answered. I like him a little bit, but my other friend said it was a bad idea and I shouldn't go out with him. She also said she liked him. I don't know what to do?! Can you tell me what you would do?

Hey! you should tell that boy that you don't have feelings for him and you should apologize. That might not be easy but that is the right thing to do. good luck!

How do you ask out a guy indirectly? I play tennis with a guy and im pretty sure he likes me and i like him, but we are both shy, and i dont want to just ask him out right out of the blue. any ideas?
