Sometimes it’s because they like you. Sometimes it’s because they’re morons. Is the teasing affectionate (sort of funny, sort of sweet) or mean (hurts your feelings)? If it’s affectionate, smile or tease back if you like the guys. If it’s mean, ignore them and don’t give them the power to make you feel bad. And if the teasing starts to make you feel uncomfortable, talk to an adult you trust.

Ok so my friend asked out my crush and he said yes! But I still have that nervous feeling when i'm around him and its really hard for me to talk to him. What can I talk to him about? I don't want him to slip through my fingers like sand! Please help! Please dont say something about a sports game! TY!


 

Hey girl. Just ask him what he is into and what his hobbies are. Then joke about a fave tv show you both watch or maybe what of your funny friends. Good luck.

MODMODThere's this guy I like that I go to these meetings with. My friend, who also goes to the meetings, says he likes me, but I can't tell! And worse of all, I can't go to the meetings anymore! I've always been to much of a wimp to ask for his number, and now I'll never see him again! WHAT SHOULD I DO?!




Hey girl. If you are feeling like you want to give him your number do this: Write your name and number on a piece of paper and give it to your friend to give to him at the next meeting. If he doesn't call, who care? You don't have to see him anymore. But if he does call, then you can see what happens from there : ) Good luck.

to SAMUELSBABE: Don't take this the wrong way, but you're in 5th grade. Your bgf who "loves" you doesn't really, what he means is that he likes you. Also, 2 years???? You started dating in THIRD GRADE !! Maybe you do really like him, but I think you're hormones haven't kicked in fully because if they had, the other guys wouldn't be enough to shake up a two year relationship. Just remember that you're only 10 ; nothing's serious then. Good luck Smile

MOD MOD:This guy that i like is kinda a bad-boy. I'm not really a trouble maker but i decided to go for it anyway. Sometimes he will start a fight with guys but never with girls.I'm only 12 and he's 13 or 14.My friends almost make it obvious that i like him to HIM.I'm worried about how he feels about me because there is a height difference. I only go up to his shoulders.What i wanna no is...will our different heights and ages affect the way he feels about me.

 

Hey girl!! A height difference? Don't worry! Height is very rarely a problem, plus most guys are taller than girls! Also, age shouldn't make much a difference either. If he's only a year or two older than you guys are probably about the same maturity level. Don't let either factor dissaude you! Hope this helps ya!

Hey babe,

It's tough to overcome the fear of being hurt, but you'll never be able to enjoy a relationship and get to know someone on a deeper level if you don't try! Make sure you really like him and that he makes you happy... and then you gotta take a deep breath and go for it. It might make ya feel nervous and it might scare you, but sometimes we have to do what scares us in order to feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction with it all. If you don't, you'll always wonder what it would've been like, won't you? <3
