Boys make fun of me at school and it is really hard to ignore them. They do it everyday and every time they get a chance. I just want to curl up in a ball and cry! They are all so rude! What do I do?




Hey! I'm so sorry they do that, what jerks. I know it's hard to ignore them, but think how stupid they'd feel if their teasing ACTUALLY didn't bother you. Try being nice to them. I know it sounds weird, but it totally throws bullies for a loop when you smile and wave at them or see how their weekend was. I'm not saying approach them with this stuff, but if they say something rude just  laugh and act like you think they're silly. it can prove that you don't let them under your skin. good luck!

Mod. Okay,so there's this boy who I've known since I was 2.We went to preschool together(and went to the came church), and we were pretty good friends. Then when we graduated from preschool we went to different elementary schools.Now in 7th grade we are at the same school, and we have many classes together.I thought we would be friends again since I knew him so well from when we were little, but now he seems like he's out to get me! He's always teasing me, and getting me in trouble in class! He bugs me alot, and is just plain mean sometimes! We've had talks with teachers about it(even his dad!), because my favorite teacher notices it, but nothing seems to change! Everyone knows he hates me, and he actually likes my best friends and hangs with them alot! I don't know what to do! I don't like when he bugs me, because alot of it hurts! I have trouble ignoring him, because he's my partner in math.(My teacher won't move us)Please give me some advice with ways to ignore him!Thanks!

 

 

Hey chica! Maybe you shouldl talk to this guy and flat out ask him what his deal is. It's possible that if you confront him like that, just the two of you, something might get solved. If that still doesn't work, I would pretend like he means nothing to you. Don't be rude, but don't be friendly either. Just pretend like he doesn't matter at all to you. And, I would talk to your best friends about it and ask them to stick up for you!

there was this kid in my class and we were friends like i called him with my friends and we hung out outside of school. some moron said i liked him so i said that i didnt like him and he was too short. If you both never made any kind of agreement that you wouldn't go out with him, there's nothing necessarily keeping you from saying yes. But I think you do owe it to your friend to talk to her first and ask her how it would make her feel. Tell her that you do really like him and want to get to know him better since he asked you out, but you value your friendship too and wouldn't want to hurt her. Just be honest with her and see how it goes <3

Sometimes, when it comes to guys, we have to take risks because we don't know everything about them before going out on a date or to a dance or whatever. But it's only a few hours with him! You'll be dancing, all your friends will be there, and when it's over you can head out. So if he ends up being fun and interesting, you'll be safe - and if he ends up not being your type, you won't have to commit for TOO long. If you wanna say yes because you might wanna get to know him better, I say go for it! Smile

Hey girl!! A height difference? Don't worry! Height is very rarely a problem, plus most guys are taller than girls! Also, age shouldn't make much a difference either. If he's only a year or two older than you guys are probably about the same maturity level. Don't let either factor dissaude you! Hope this helps ya!

It's tough to overcome the fear of being hurt, but you'll never be able to enjoy a relationship and get to know someone on a deeper level if you don't try! Make sure you really like him and that he makes you happy... and then you gotta take a deep breath and go for it. Think hard about this situation: what exactly do you even like about this boy? Is it just because you see him as a "project" that you can try to fix? That is definitely NOT a healthy way to approach a crush, so reevaluate things if that's the case! Get involved in a new activity or try to meet some of your friends' friends to branch out from this bad boy. There are all kinds of guys out there, and you can absolutely develop a crush on someone who is actually a GOOD person - you deserve that!

Hey, thanks for answering. I really like this guy at my school, I'm a sophomore and he's a senior. He told me I was cute and he tried to get me to hang out one weekend but I was grounded. But he kind of flirts with all girls he knows (he even told me he has a hard time keeping his eyes on one girl) and he started acting really awkward around me and avoiding me. Recently we started talking again but he seems really shy and awkward still around me and when I invite him to do stuff with my friends at lunch, he usually says no. What could be going on?




Hey girlie. I don't think you should try to be with a guy who "has trouble keeping his eye on one girl." He doesn't sound like that great of a guy and someone who is used to girls flocking to him. Don't stroke his ego by being one of those girls. Instead, want more for yourself-look for a guy who chooses one girl to be with rather than the whole class. Don't waste your effort on him, girlie. You deserve better.

MOD MOD MOD!!! ive had this problem for a while now. i broke up with my bf recently, and ive been gettng "hate mail" from his goofy friends. at first it was just the funny stares in the hallway and stupid comments, and his friends and i would laugh it off, but one of the guys, as ive gotten to know him, is bad news bears. he goes too far with the teasing, and is mean to girls. yesterday he texted my bffl and i callin us bad words. we blocked his number now, and im deciding to be really strict about talking to him. what else should i do?? im so confused on how to act around this guy now because no guy has ever treated me bad and teased me like that. to make things worse, the ex-bf isnt stopping them at all, he just looks at them tease me from afar... but should i expect him to tell them to stop?? ugh im so confused. help!




Hey girlie. He should tell his friends to stop, but unfortunately, they are all young and immature. I would say, if you are confident enough to do so, confront them about it. Go up to him and say "stop it before I have to get the school involved." You have to stand up for yourself and claim the respect that you deserve as a female and as a person in general. If they don't stop, then tell him you are going to talk to the school about it. There is no reason for him to treat you badly. Ask him why he is acting like this and tell him that he needs to mature and get over it-it's not like you broke up with him!

How do you know if a guy likes you back when he knows you like him?
So my babblermouth friends told him that I like him! But whenever my friends talk to him about me they tell me that he says Yes! or smiles and walks away. He talks with other girls but... ignores me. I know for sure that he's aware I'm near him when I am(it vibrates off him almost lol) He started to talk with my friend today that was walking next to me about a prostitution debate they were having in class( hes wierd like that) and he looked at me and then looked away. I'm starting to get pissed off. I think I'm going to start taking the longer way to homeroom on Monday using the younger's grade's wing. Help me?




Hey girlie. If he knows you like him and is giving your friends hints about liking you back, then just try talking to him-normal conversation like "hey, how was class," or "what are your plans for the weekend." See if he actually talks to you or gives you shorter answers. If he blows you off by not really responding then I would say find another guy. That happened to me for like a year. At first it was mean but then he got flirty and we ended up dating. He was really sweet too. But if they are saying things painful or hurtful I would walk right up to them and ask why and tell them to lay off. No girl needs that.

My birthday is next month, and i really wanna have a party i will be turning 14, but the problem is there will be lots of exams and midterms and all my friends and me will be studying Frown so no time for a party , plz tell me what should i do or what are some alternatives Smile and thx

 

Hey girl. Even though your actual birthday is next month, maybe you could have a joint Christmas/birthday celebration. Or if you would rather have it in January, wait until exams are over to have the party. On your actual birthday, celebrate with your parents and family, then pick a free weekend (exam free) for a party with friends! Try to be flexible.

Hey, i live around guys, they my friends, i got girls for friends to, mostly guys though, You can tell if they like you if its mean ish teasing, but also flirtying like, this guy asked me out, and he kept annoying the heck out of me before. listen to your heart, i can never stay quite, you can mostlikely, be lucky
