During the summer, my friend and I were a couple hours north of where we live. We were taking a walk when we ran into a group of guys coming back from a swim in the river. We talked to the guys for a while and found out that the one i liked best was from Norway!!! stupidly, we didnt get their names, and we never ran into them agin Frown

theres this girl whos my bfs ex. i never really liked her to begin with just cauz she can be mean. shesa freshman and im a soph. they went out awhile ago but they went out a few times just like me and him. like my bf would go back and forth between me and her. the thing that really bothered me was that he said he still loved me while he was going out with her. ik this is all in the past but i cant help but feel like he couldve been telling his x he loved her while going out with me. i feel like it can go both ways. ik this is all in the past and i trust my bf cauz weve been together for over 8 months now i just cant help but feeling insecure about it. how can i get over this and just move on from it? sorry this is so long

 

Hey girl, 

I would talk to him about it. I think that's a valid concern because if he acted that way with her, who's to say he might not do the same thing to you? Since you have been together so long, he probably is not going back and forth with his feelings anymore, but it is worth it to check with him because you'll feel better. You could let him know that you do trust him but just tell him that this has been bothering you for a little while. If you don't want to talk to him, you could try to remind yourself why he's a great guy and why you trust him.
