I'm too pushy with guys



Every time I have a crush, I sort of try to force my friendship on him. I don't mean to be pushy, it just sort of happens.
 
First and foremost, you’ve got the right idea, but you’re going all wrong about it. You are definitely to be commended for not being timid when it comes to talking to guys that you have the hots for. However, you should never force a friendship, especially on a guy that you’re crushing on.
 
By forcing yourself on the guy, you could be pushing him farther away from you. You also might be giving him the wrong impression about your feelings toward him and he may just keep you in the “friend” zone.
 
Try and get to know him, but allow the connection to happen at its own pace. Give your crush a chance to show you whether he likes you back the way that you like him. By doing this, you will also gain better foresight about whether he has an interest in you as more than just a friend.

This year, I have become really good friends with this boy named Mason. The thing is, he is short. I like him a lot, and I think if he was in a different body I would date him for sure. But I feel like I can't date him because we'd be an ugly couple since he is smaller than me. I don't know what to do, because i mean i don't dislike him for being short.. it's just weird that I'm bigger than he is. WHat should I do?

I totally know what you mean - my ex BF was a full two inches shorter than me and I love wearing heels, so a lot of the time he was even shorter than that! I was really self-conscious at first but the thing is, as big of a deal as it seems at first, when you get to know a person better and start to like {or even love} them a lot... you forget all about it. If you're a happy couple who has fun with each other, I promise you it will become less and less important to you. So try to put the physical stuff aside and get to know Mason better. If he makes you happy, then his height {and yours} doesn't matter Smile

is it bad to have a crush on a guy who has a girlfriend? like we text and talk and sometimes it seems like he likes me. i don't know what to do. i kinda wanna wait for them to break up and then really try to flirt with him. i really like him and he's nice and not as immature as most of the guys i know. also, he's a little younger than me but i don't really care about that. but then there's also another girl who i think likes him too. i want him to like me more than her but would if i try to flirt with him too much while he still has a gf and it pushes us apart? pleeease help me

 

Hey girlie. It's best not to mess with guys who have girlfriends. How would you feel if you were their girlfriend, and your boyfriend was texting another girl? Who's to say he wouldn't do the same thing to you if you two were dating? It's really best to move on at least until he is broken up with his girlfriend. You need to tell him that he cannot have best of both worlds (date his gf and then talk to you on the side)!

I hope you can answer this, but I have a really good guy friend. I like him but im not so sure if he likes me, but he does want to right in my agenda and we text 24/7? Any signs to what you think? Do you think he likes me? But anyways everytime I tell him that we have homeowrk he always asks me for the answers and to take pictures of the hmwrk and send it to him. I don't do it...i mkae up excuses but I don't want to do that. I don't want to tell a teacher that to get him in trouble but what should I do.

Hey girlie. It's good that you don't give him the answers because in the long run, that will hurt him more than help him. Tell him that you don't feel comfortable giving him the answers but that maybe you can help tutor him so he can understand it for himself. That way when the test comes around, he will do well and not need to cheat. Tell him that you believe he is really smart and can do well on his own. Also, if you tutor him you will get to spend some one on one time with him which could build your relationship. Good luck! xoxo
