I'm too pushy with guys



Every time I have a crush, I sort of try to force my friendship on him. I don't mean to be pushy, it just sort of happens.
 
First and foremost, you’ve got the right idea, but you’re going all wrong about it. You are definitely to be commended for not being timid when it comes to talking to guys that you have the hots for. However, you should never force a friendship, especially on a guy that you’re crushing on.
 
By forcing yourself on the guy, you could be pushing him farther away from you. You also might be giving him the wrong impression about your feelings toward him and he may just keep you in the “friend” zone.
 
Try and get to know him, but allow the connection to happen at its own pace. Give your crush a chance to show you whether he likes you back the way that you like him. By doing this, you will also gain better foresight about whether he has an interest in you as more than just a friend.

Hey girl, I don't know if it's wrong, but nothing will come of it. I'd suggest distancing yourself and moving on. He's taken and if you were his girlfriend, you wouldn't want some other girl pining after him.

i like this guy and he told me he liked me so i told him i like him also. but when we pass each other in the halls, we just maybe say hi but we never have an actual convo. im too shy and HE never comes up to me either. we text though, and its clear that we like each other but we just never talk at school! are we texting too much??? what should i do???????




Hey girl, why not playfully bring that up in a text? Ask 'hey, why don't we talk at school? lol' Phrase it casually.

theres this guy i dated and i'm still best friends with him. my bff loves to flirt with him! even when we were dating. she always trys to be loose with him she doesn't even like him and she flirts with him everytime shes with him and totally closes me out when shes with him even if i'm talking to him. I tell her how she acts with him and she doesn't care. it's frustrating, She just trys so hard! what do i say? also she hugs my brother thats a year younger then us. its weird. i tell her to lay off but she jsut doesn't care. what can i say?

Hey girl, all you can do is what you have: you gave her a heads up that her behavior is not acceptable. Remind her that guys don't like loose girls and what she's doing is only hurting her reputation, not strengthening it.

im feel so bad right now ( not the sick way) my friend and i were in the hall and she started messing around in a sing song voice "????? is a loser!" so playing back i said "??????? a great big fat jackass!" i know it was really harsh. right after that she said "whatd u say?" and i told her i didnt mean it i was just kidding. she did a little fake cry thng that she does. (shes very dramatic) and walked away (so did i) now im really afraid shes mad at me. which is a problem because im litterally gona be with her all day twm. what should say to get her to NOT be mad??????
