Balance your boy and your besties

We’ve all heard of the bestie who gets tossed aside for the new BF. But what if you’re the one with the romance? This time, you’ve found your perf Prince Charming and you’re on cloud nine. That is, until your gal pals confront you and accuse you of ignoring them. What now?

Balancing Act

With school, extra currics and a social life, you’re one busy gal. Add a BF into the mix and your crazy sched goes from busy to hectic. You can’t get enough of your guy and those butterflies he gives you, but it’s all about balance, chica. Make sure you’re putting time into your friendships, too. They’re your best friends forever.

Talk it out

Sure, you may have missed the past couple girls’ nights, but that doesn’t mean you’re choosing your BF over your friends. Tell ‘em, girl. Let them in on how you’re feeling and listen to them too. Yeah, you could have handled things better, but does that mean you don’t want to be friends? No way!

Ahead of time

If your gals are making plans last minute (after you’ve already made plans with Romeo), it’s not OK to ditch him. At the same time, it’s also wrong to ditch previous plans with your girlies for your BF. Ask everyone to make plans a bit earlier and your life, plus theirs, will be way easier.

Be the party planner

Stop waiting for an invite to get together with your gals. Show your BFFs you still care by inviting them for a change. Girls’ night? Chick flicks? Mani-pedis? Yes, please. They’ll def see you’re making an effort.

Be patient

Your friends are feeling a bit betrayed, so it’ll take a while for things to get back to normal. But with a li’l time and a li’l effort, you’ll be good as new (or better) in no time.
