Gotta dash out the door, like, now? We’ve got ya covered,
girl. Here’s how to glam it up in no time flat. Darling hair, pretty makeup and
the perfect outfit can be yours in minutes. Keep reading and never be late for
a bash again.
Doll up that ’do.
Here’s a secret: If you’re seriously crunched for time,
don’t attempt a tricky updo or braid you’ve never tried before. Instead, rock a
polished version of a look you’ve mastered. Hair that’s down ‘n’ straight, frizz-free
curls or a sweet side pony all work for the holidays. Dress them up with
sparkly clips, haute headbands or festive ribbons.

A bit of smoothing cream and a speedy once-over with a flat
iron will make your mane shine.

Smooth out your skin.
Peer in the mirror and check out what’s going on with that
complexion. If you’ve been wearing makeup all day and it’s lookin’ a little
faded, use remover to get rid of anything super out of place. Then, reapply,
going a little heavier with the eyeliner. Think twice before whipping out the
mascara wand, as your lashes might still be coated.
If you haven’t worn any makeup, apply your fave tinted
moisturizer. Right now, we’re adoring gold eyeshadow. Sweep some on and then
apply two coats of mascara. Wait to get totally dressed before popping on
gloss.

Get decked.
OK, now’s the time to toss on your dress, skirt or whatever
you’re wearing for the night. Remember: Be super-careful when pulling on your
tights or risk a major run. The best way to save time pulling your look
together is to pull everything out the night before. Make sure you hang that
frock, iron your blouse and ensure you have the right panties/bra/tights
around.
Two minutes before you leave is not the time for major
outfit switches, so having a mini fashion show days before the soiree will save
you time on your way out the door. If you know you’re gonna change your mind,
get a few options totally ready and make your decision before you leave.
Accessorize (but not too much).
Jewelry is like tinsel: It’s pretty in small quantities, but
it’s easy to go overboard. If your holiday frock is sparkly, keep the bling to
a minimum. If your dress is on the plain side, opt for a bib necklace or major
ring to up the fun factor. Gloss those lips and go, girl.
