How do I get a boy who I really like to notice me? He's popular and girls ask him out all the time... Help me, please!

 

HIS ANSWER: Start a conversation with him. Make it real by starting with a question he can respond to so you can get things moving. After you’ve talked for a few minutes, THEN you can start subtly flirting, but don’t go overboard. Be yourself, and don’t sound desperate. That’s a total turnoff.

Hey girl, why not ask him to join your group and work with him? Introduce yourself and just treat him as if he's someone you want to be friends with. When you focus on that small stepping stone (instead of making him your BF) it takes the pressure off and makes things easier. Start with small strides.

please help! ive been crushing on this guy in my english class for MONTHS now and whenever we talk he always ends up walking me to my locker even though its past his. i cant tell if he likes me and im really trying to ask him out but every time i do my mind creates a scenario with him answereing "i dont really know you that well so why on earth would i go out with you?" Being friends with an ex is some tough stuff - trust me, I've tried to do it too. But he might need time right now to move on, so don't force it. You have a lot of history and it does take time for the breakup to seem less "fresh" or recent. Slowly, you can try getting in touch with him - ask him how he's been and have a short convo but again, don't force it. You'll build up your friendship again soon enough, but remind yourself to give him space and pace yourself first.

Hey chica! Those things take time. If a guy sees you as his sister, it might take time for him to see you as anything but that. There's definitely a chance that you will take on a different role though. To get him to notice you, you should just be yourself. Try and get him laughing. Strike up convos with him about similar interests.

Maybe the best thing to do would be to find something else to occupy yourself when youre bored. That way you dont text too much. I always used to text a lot ad its not the best thing for you. Cut back and spend your time doing other things and youll feel loads better. xoxo kerra

Hey there girly girl, maybe if you go out of your way to be nice and help your mom some, she'll ease up a little bit. Like unload the dishwasher without being asked, clean up after yourself, and do the dishes for her after dinner. Maybe, if you can, even buy her some flowers. Hey girly! I would let him know that you're there for him, but give him some space too. Maybe try one more time... tell him that if he needs to talk, you're there for him, and leave it at that.

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD so theres this guy in my class. i REALLY like him, but I dont know what to say to him sometimes. I talk to him, and we work on hw questions before class starts,and we work together during class sometimes, but it can still be awkward. My friends think he likes me due to the way he talks to me because whenever we are in a group he always says" hey "my name" what did you get for this" and he asks me questions not having to do with school either. but I saw him talking to some other girls today in the hallway. Do you think he likes them, or am i overanalyzing things? And also do you think he likes me?

Seriously Ive kept track and he always makes sure to talk to me every day and once got in troble for talking to me in last period cuz he talk to me before that. He always teases me nicely and doesnt seem to hang out with other girls except one who I think has a BF who's also his best friend. What do you think? If you think he likes me, how do I get him to get that I like him too?

I have a problem, if anyone can help. You see, there's this guy I like and we always talk a lot and we have tons in common. He's the only guy I know that accepts my punk style and I really like him. My friends and I are pretty sure he likes me back, mainly cause he spilled the beans to his brother and a couple of other people in my class, plus he acts like he does. So at the last school dance I told his brother I liked him and he told my crush. We ended up slow dancing. So the next week he acted like nothing happened. My best friend texted him asking him if he would go out with me. He said yes. But he hasn't asked me out at all or has even gotten close. I want my friend to ask again, but then it might seem like I'm desperate. I really like him a lot, but I don't know to do! Please help!

Three months ago my school had a Fall Ball. About two weeks before the dance, I asked out one of my guy friends who I became really close to this year. I've actually liked him since 6th grade so for three years now. When I asked him he said that we can probably go together, but he wasn't sure if he was busy or not (and he told me we would talk about it on Monday). He never talked to me Monday, or Tuesday or Wednesday so on Thursday I finally went to go talk to him about it again and he told me that his family was going on a hunting trip but that we should hang out sometime instead.
He hasn't talked to me since and it's been three months. I really miss him as a friend I feel so stupid for asking him. What can I do to make it so we can talk again and just be friends? I'm tired of feeling awkward around him, vice versa.

This 'be real' stuff isn't working. My real is. Gothic. And crazy. And well. Guys don't like that. I'm 11 and I'm in LOVE. I asked him out before but he said no. That was last year. Hey chica. A lot of times, it takes time for hair to grow on us. At first you may hate it, but in a week you may love it. Just try different hair dos when you have some free time. Also, you can never make a guy like you--and you shouldn't want to. Don't you want to be with someone who wants to be with you just the way you are? I mean you can try to hang out with him, but if he is not responding well, maybe it's best to move on to someone else or just stay single for a bit. Trust me--when you are 11, you think you are in love, but really you barely know the guys in your grade.

ok so I knew this guy for 3 years now and we used to hang out alot but now he only visits during vacation because he goes to school far away but we usually say hi to each other and sometimes talk one time he asked if I had a cell but I dont so i said no but I said I can text but he said calling is so much better though and he kinda ignores me when his family or my friends are around but talks to me when no one else is around.. everyone thinks that we would make a cute couple.. when I say hi and try to talk to him he looks nervous because I think his brother was with him.. does he like me? almost all my friends think he does the way he smiles at me and the past..but I cant date till Im 18 and Im 14 and I think I brought it up when he was around once is that why he is nervous to talk to me now?? its sooo confusing




Hey girlie. It's hard to tell if a guy likes us. But just try talking to him and maybe ask him if he wants to hang out over break. See what he says and go from there.

Hey girlie. Ask your mom if you can ask him first and then have her talk to his mom to make sure it's alright with her. Tell your mom that you want to face your fear of asking him to prove it to yourself. When you do ask him, say, "Hey, I think it would be fun to go to the ball together as friends! What do you think?" This way he knows you just want to go as friends and nothing more.
