I have really fat thighs. How can I work on getting rid of some of the fat?

 

We all have different parts of our bodies that tend to gain weight more than other parts. I’m sure your thighs look much heavier to you than to anyone else, but if you’re lookin’ to trim up, exercise is key.

 

Are you getting 30 minutes to an hour of exercise a day? Try upping your cardio by jogging on a treadmill during the winter months, going to classes at the Y or joining a sports team at school.

 

In addition to cardio, there are exercises you can do to turn some of that thigh fat into muscle and get your legs looking toned. Squats and lunges are great for this. These GL workouts have tons of moves that target your thighs: Get toned, a cheerleading workout and exercises you can do anywhere. So get movin’ and your legs will look fab in no time.

To me my thighs are kind of big and a fininshed playing my first season of soccer they got a tiny bit smaller then stoped a started to get musule im confused there ok in size but they have little tiny tiny rolls (so small u can barly see them) im confused (btw im 9)

I have larger thighs too because I play soccer. Just try not to wear super tight skinny jeans because they make them look fatter.

MOD
I'm about 5'2" or 5'3" and I weigh .... pounds. I'm in 7th grade. Is this normal and healthy? I look mostly normal except my belly is kinda big. Please answer because I feel really insecure when I see how much I weigh and I think I'm really fat even though my friends say I'm not. Thanks!

While we mods can help ya with a LOT of different topics, if you're concerned/curious about your weight you should totally ask your doctor! A professional will be able to honestly tell you about your weight (whether it's healthy, overweight, underweight, etc.) and can even help you with exercise/food choices Smile You can trust them since they've been trained to help ya on that stuff! Your health is def important enough!
