I'm fallin' for my BGF


 

My BGF and I hang out all the time and I feel like I can tell him anything. Lately though, I’ve been feeling like I want to be more than “just friends.”

 

We joke around a lot and most of the time it ends up having something to do with us going out. Sometimes I think he likes me back but others I feel like all he wants is to be friends and he’s just joking around.

 

I’m so confused! What should I do?

 

HIS ANSWER: "Try to spend a little more time with him, maybe even just the two of you, so you can get a better idea of his feelings. If that doesn't work, you can talk to his friends about it to see if they know, or maybe even ask him yourself. A confident girl who isn't afraid to say what she's feeling is rarely a bad thing."

 

DECODED: If you can’t tell from how he acts when it’s just the two of you, you may have to ask. Don’t be shy!

 

YOUR MOVE: Invite him over to play some Wii. Just be casual about it and see if sparks fly. If that goes well, tell him you had a good time and would love to hang out again. If he agrees, go to the movies or do something else a little less buddy-buddy.

Okay, so I like my bgf, but I don't know if he likes me! We talk about everything and all my gal friends say we'd make a perfect couple... But neither of us can date yet. To add to my problems, one of my best girl friends recently told him she liked him, and he told her he liked her back. I HATE fighting over boys with my friends, and I really want her to be happy because I value her friendship... But at the same time I am like "It should be me! Get your hands off my man" in my head. So HELP! Is there anything I can do?

 

Hey! talk to her about it. telling her how you feel will make you feel better for sure.

MOD MOD MOD MOD (: Hey! Soo there's this guy that i am crazyyy about! He is so nice & sweet & funny. We text eachother almost everyday. I think he likes me too. He told me once that he did so i suppose he still does. & he knows i like him. I know this sounds weird but everytime i see a picture of him my heart litterally goes crazy & my breathing gets weird! Do you have any tips or ideas that could get him to tell me if he likes me without me having to just flatout ask him? Thank you sooo much! (: <3

 

 

Hey girly girl! I'd increase your alone time with him, and hang together as much as possible. When he gets more comfortable with you, he'll be more likely to tell you Smile

My boyfriend moved away a while ago (over 2 hours away), and no one has any way of talking to him. When we first started dating, he told me that he knew he was going to move at some point, and that I had to be ready to break up. I have no way of talking to him, but I wanted to stop dwelling on the fact that I might never see him again, and I asked one of my BGF's to our school's Sadie Hawkin's dance. He said yes, and shortly after, one of my friends came up to me and gave me a phone number so I can talk to my bf again. I can't get myself to call him and tell him its over, and I don't know what to do.




Hey girl, I think the fact you two aren't talking or seeing each other more or less silently signals it's over. You can't have a relationship with no communication. I'd suggest calling him for closure but understand this is the way it has to work out. It's not the two of you, it's distance.

Honey just ask him. If he's truly your best friend, he'll accept the fact you like him even if he doesn't share those feelings.

You could always ask your friends how they interpret your interactions with your BGF. My bestie told me for six months before I liked my best guy friend, (now boyfriend of 6 months), that he liked me. I ignored her, claimed it couldn't be true. Finally, after months of her harassing me and telling me the two of us just fit, I started liking him. I finally took the leap of faith to tell him and found out he had liked me for those six prior months. Now we're as happy as ever.
And if you are concerned about losing the friendship with the new type of relationship- don't be. Just make sure you still talk and you can still tell each other everything. It really makes the relationship easier.

Never be afraid to shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land on a star.

yea my BFG and i have been BFF's since pre-k and i have liked him ever since and he kissed me while we were playing a video game so now im saying my best friend forever is my boyfriend it sounds awkward but i luv itSmile
