I'm fallin' for my BGF


 

My BGF and I hang out all the time and I feel like I can tell him anything. Lately though, I’ve been feeling like I want to be more than “just friends.”

 

We joke around a lot and most of the time it ends up having something to do with us going out. Sometimes I think he likes me back but others I feel like all he wants is to be friends and he’s just joking around.

 

I’m so confused! What should I do?

 

HIS ANSWER: "Try to spend a little more time with him, maybe even just the two of you, so you can get a better idea of his feelings. If that doesn't work, you can talk to his friends about it to see if they know, or maybe even ask him yourself. A confident girl who isn't afraid to say what she's feeling is rarely a bad thing."

YOUR MOVE: Invite him over to play some Wii. Just be casual about it and see if sparks fly. If that goes well, tell him you had a good time and would love to hang out again. If he agrees, go to the movies or do something else a little less buddy-buddy.

i'm really confused right now. i have had the biggest crush on this guy.and i'm pretty sure he likes me back. this would seem like a could thing but from my point of view it could make my life even more difficult. i keep trying to forget about him and i was finally over him this past week then he came up to me after my basketball game and told me how well i played. i fell for him again -__- the problem is; one of my old friends used to go out with him. he broke up with her so she still has feelings for him (i think). (lets call my crush - bob, my old friend "jane" and my other friend that used to like bob - lucy) lucy used to have a crush on bob and she asked jane if she could dance with him at a dance. jane said it was fine and that she was over bob. so they danced, and jane got wicked mad at her. now there is a dance friday and i'm afraid the same thing is gonna happen to me...please help! i dont want jane mad at me but i really, REALLY like this guy! sorry its so long!(:




Hey babe,

It's clear that Bob and Jane both mean a lot to you, so you should probably sit down with Jane and talk about this. Tell her you understand they had history, but they're broken up now and you'd really like to pursue it further. Make sure she understands how much you value her friendship: you're not doing this to hurt her, you're doing it to explore your own feelings. Emphasize this! That way, she'll feel less like you're on his side. Still, if she gets upset, remember that you may have to end up deciding not to pursue Bob. But first, try to make her realize that part of being a friend is supporting your friends through things, even if they may not be exactly what you want. Go into this together and you'll work it out <3

omg i was in that boat before, well actually twice. they were very both cute, athletic, and nice boyz. well one way i found out was my friend she asked him do u think angel is pretty and do u like her and he said yes she is cute pretty smart and kind. another time i sent a forward on my cell that said u have a free ticket to ask me any question and he sent it to me back so i asked him and he said ya and he asked me the did i like him so those are ways to find outLaughing

I have a crush on my BGF and he is aware that I like him. He said that he would talk about it but it seems like we both can't get the nerve to talk about it. I think we felt it too soon, since we both are talking a lot still. However, I'm confused whether he likes me or not since he flirts with me from time to time. What should I do and what does this mean?




Hey girlie! The next step is to talk to him about it!! Since he already said that he would, this is great news for you! If you can't get up the nerve, try doing it over the phone. It might be easier that way.

I have liked my bgf for a long time. We have been bestfriends since birth. Literally. We hang out all the time , and I know he is into me.[He told me tonight he liked me back , when we were watching a movie]. The problem is he is moving to a new state at the end of the school year or even before. I like him so much , it makes me cry to even think about it. He is scared of getting too attached , because it will make it harder on his move. So I don't think he is gonna ask me out. I don't want ot make anything hard on him , or his moving because I know he is majorly upset about it. Should I keep tryng to be more than friends? It just makes me upset to know that he won't ever be mine , after liking him for soo long. I don't know if I should just move on , and be just friends , or keep trying to be more than friends. What should I do??? Thank you so much!!!




Hey girl, I think you should talk this out with him and see what he thinks. I think if you two have had feelings simmering for a while now and you both know you like each other, you can't just be friends like you were before. I say go for it and see what happens. This is your one trial run and there's no penalties. It'll be hard either way to lose such a close friend, but you two may be able to make long distance work.

MOD this boy flirts with me, and i get the vibe that he likes me. But he also flirts with A LOT of other girls, and sometimes he just ignores me. Today, te boys had to pick dance partners, adn he didn't pick me. is he just a "player"?
