I'm fallin' for my BGF


 

My BGF and I hang out all the time and I feel like I can tell him anything. Lately though, I’ve been feeling like I want to be more than “just friends.”

 

We joke around a lot and most of the time it ends up having something to do with us going out. Sometimes I think he likes me back but others I feel like all he wants is to be friends and he’s just joking around.

 

I’m so confused! What should I do?

 

HIS ANSWER: "Try to spend a little more time with him, maybe even just the two of you, so you can get a better idea of his feelings. If that doesn't work, you can talk to his friends about it to see if they know, or maybe even ask him yourself. A confident girl who isn't afraid to say what she's feeling is rarely a bad thing."

YOUR MOVE: Invite him over to play some Wii. Just be casual about it and see if sparks fly. If that goes well, tell him you had a good time and would love to hang out again. If he agrees, go to the movies or do something else a little less buddy-buddy.

I am so confused, My best guy friend and I met when we were in third grade, I used to like him a LOT. Then I moved... to Germany. Three years have gone by and I have gotten used to the fact that I should just think of him as a friend. We talk all the time.
Then a couple weeks ago. One of my friends (who is from the same class) came to visit. She told me that he is majorly crushing on me, and the feelings I had came rushing back. I am moving back to the states in 10 months, but three states away from him. I know I am going to be able to visit, but I want to date him (and I am pretty sure he does too). I don't know if I am going to be able do the distance though. There are probably going to be lots of guys that are crush worthy where I am going to move. What should I do?




hey girlie. I would wait and see. Long distance can be hard when you are in your twenties so I think it can be even harder in middle school or high school. I wouldn't wait out for him when it's not likely that you will see him very often. But you live in Germany--I'm so jealous! That must be amazing!

My bgf (who I've known since birth) asked me to formal, which I'm thrilled about, but ever since he asked me, we've had nothing to talk about. We're way past the "get to know each other phase" so it feels like there's nothing new to discuss! Nothing new or exciting, and since hes a tad shy, I'm scared he won't handle awkwardness well. Please, I am begging, provide me with something to talk to him about!

Hey girlie! Believe me, I've definitely been there. You are just going to have to be a little assertive during the date, which means act with confidence in order to bring out his own. Don't expect him to lead the conversation, so if it gets quiet, just bring up whatever is on your mind like something you saw on the news or some new random fact you learned in class. It can be a bit tough, but if you hang in there the guy will really appreciate the effort you're bringing into the date

My advice is tell him. Since you said you feel like you can tell him anything. Just say that u kind of like him and if it dosent work out u still want to be friends. I tried with my BGF and sadly it didn't work out but we are still as close as before. Hope it helped, good luck (:

WIll SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?!?!?!?!??! I want to break up with my BF, and we've been 2gether 7 months, but we never even talk, and its so awkward, its like he's not even my BF, and i'm not feeling it and i miss my freedom, but i still want to be his friend, I don't know if i can bear hurting him... I don't know how to do it, and chances r imma break down crying when i do, so I need help, knowing what to say and do :'( It's just gotten me into more trouble and i get nothing out of it pkease help Frown

MOD MOD MOD! My BGF and i go to different schools, so we mostly txt and talk online, some days we message back and forth for a long time, then some days he just totally ignores my messages. Got any clue why he might do this?

 

 

Hey chica! It's possible that he may be extra busy those days and not have the time, or energy to text you back. I would talk to him about it and see what his deal is. You deserve to know.
