I'm fallin' for my BGF


 

My BGF and I hang out all the time and I feel like I can tell him anything. Lately though, I’ve been feeling like I want to be more than “just friends.”

 

We joke around a lot and most of the time it ends up having something to do with us going out. Sometimes I think he likes me back but others I feel like all he wants is to be friends and he’s just joking around.

 

I’m so confused! What should I do?

 

HIS ANSWER: "Try to spend a little more time with him, maybe even just the two of you, so you can get a better idea of his feelings. If that doesn't work, you can talk to his friends about it to see if they know, or maybe even ask him yourself. A confident girl who isn't afraid to say what she's feeling is rarely a bad thing."

YOUR MOVE: Invite him over to play some Wii. Just be casual about it and see if sparks fly. If that goes well, tell him you had a good time and would love to hang out again. If he agrees, go to the movies or do something else a little less buddy-buddy.

MODMODMODMOD Ive alwaysfelt that i shouldnt settle for a guy i dont truley like but theres a guy i feel the need to take a chance with because the other guy doesnt like me.... one thing.... Hes my BGF and ive always had a thought but ive always been like no were hanging out what clues should i look for to c if he likes me first?

 

Hey girl. Ask yourself what things you do when you like a guy and see if he does those things to you.

MOD MOD MOD!!! My guy friend found out who I like, but I didn't want him to know. I told him not to tell anyone, especially this one guy in particular. He lied to me and told me he didn't tell him, but later admitted that he did. I got really mad at him and told him I couldn't trust him, but then he tried to turn it on me and tell me that I have trust issues and that I can definitely trust the guy he told not to tell anyone. I lied and said I didn't like my crush anymore, but that I was still angry because he broke his promise. He said I'd get over it eventually, which really ticked me off. I told him never to talk to me again. I have every period plus lunch with him, so I can't avoid him. What do I do?!?! Sorry this is so long!

 

Hey girlie. I think it may be best to tell him that you were dissapointed that he betrayed your trust but also that you can forgive him. You don't want to lose a friend over it, do you? Be the bigger person.

MOD! I have a few problems. I plan on telling my BGF I like him... but there's three problems. 1) I can't get him alone! His computer's broken, so that leaves facebook out of the picture, and he's always in crowds when I can talk to him. Taking him out of a group would make things awkward. 2) I don't know if he likes me back! We talk, and we know practically everything about each other. My friend Nathan keeps saying we're destined for each other, and mentioned, "It's a shocker you two aren't dating" during our game of tag. We don't say anything... except Matt (my BGF) runs after Nathan. 3) I don't know how to tell him! There's so many ways. Like... asking for advice, asking who he likes, then there's the, "Would it be awkward if a guy and girl were best friends, and one liked the other?" ... So, needless to say, I'm hopelessly confused. -Sarah

 

Hey girlie. I know it's hard! But try just spending more time with him and then seeing if he likes anyone at the moment. You don't know til you ask! Good luck.

MOD Hey! I'm planning on telling my BGF of 7 years I like him! Three problems. 1) I can't get ahold of him online, nor can I tell him in person. He's always in a crowd, and pulling him out of that crowd would draw sooo much attention! 2) I don't know if he likes me back! He's sending mixed signals. 3) I don't know how to tell him! kk so here's the thing......me and my bgf r super tight we tell each other everything. only prob is that i think.no i no i like him mre than a friend. i would tell him but i no who he likes and it's not me and i don't want things 2 b akward. wat should i do?
