Thank you for reading this So my new year has started off not the greatest. Just today I told my parents I wasn't going to be doing softball this year, and that spiraled into a huge controversy. So now according to my deductions, my Dad's opinion of me is that I'm not a well rounded person, and that I can't make my decisions on what I want to do for myself. The thing is, I'm in high school, an I'm tired of being told what I should and shouldn't want to do. My Dad isn't appreciative of my good qualities: I'm a straight A student, I have a lot of good friends, and things like that. And then on the other hand, my Mom doesn't want to give me advice anymore, she always acts like she doesn't love my Dad, which is hard to deal with. My little sister though, is the best person in the house, according to them. She's an amazing guitar player, she could easily be a model, she's a better student, she runs crosscountry, and my family just loves her. What should I do?

hey! your family loves you for being you and not like anyone else. It may seem like that's not true when they're pressuring you but it is. You have to communicate your feelings to your family. that's the only way to feel better. good luck!
