I have sort of the same problem! My friend acts fine when we're alone but as soon as one of her school friends I don't know well comes she acts like she doesn't want me there and also like I'm not there at all. I told one of my other friends to tell her how I felt and she told me she doesn't try to make me feel that way. The worst part is that she keeps doing it! Like in 5th grade we were supposed to play together at recess and I reminded her right before and she still "forgot" and played with her other friends instead! Even more, she saw me looking at her and said sorry for forgetting and didn't even invite me to play the rest of recess time! I know she is embaresed to be around me and I know I should forget about her but when we're alone she makes me feel like she's really a good friend. HELP!

It's time to say bye to this mean girl! She might feel like a good friend when you're alone, but if she can't include you in her public friendship circle, then she doesn't deserve you as a friend. But are you sure that she's embarrassed to be around you, or do you just think that? Maybe she didn't invite you to play with her other recess friends because she assumed you would just come play with them. Your friend doesn't have to be a social invitation, just introduce yourself to the other kids in your class. You'll probably make new friends that you weren't expecting! Good luck!

I've been noticing things about one of my friends lately. She's the kind of person who can never be wrong, and she doesn't listen well because she's kind of in a mindset that all of her problems are more important. She's really a great friend, but I've been holding back on being around her because she always wants to bicker about something or tell me that I'm not doing something right. It's starting to really bother me, because she's just become so irritating to be around, and I'm not really sure what to do. What should I do?

MOD MOD MOD!!!!! ok so i have a friend and i am best friends with her but lately shes been being sortof mean to me like today she texted me and she said that we are bffl's but then after she said she was going to have a sleepover with these girls and it seems like shes trying to make me jelous but im not sure and i don't know what i should be feeling right now.... should i be mad at her?
