Should I tell my parents about my boyfriend?

 
I have a boyfriend and we’ve hugged and kissed and stuff, but my mom and dad don’t know. Should I tell them?

 

Hey girlie! Things like this depend entirely on your relationship with your parents. While they should definitely know if you're seeing a guy outside of school, other  details are up to you. I’m really close with my mom, so I tell her everything. Some of my friends, however, are pretty tight-lipped about their relationships.

 

It sounds like you might be feeling a li’l bit guilty about keeping your relationship and your intimacy a secret. If that’s the case, then why not spill the beans? When you don’t have to be concerned about hiding your feelings from your ‘rents, you’ll be much more comfortable in your relationships with both your Mom ‘n’ Dad and your boyfriend.

 

Bonus? Chances are, your mom would love it if you confided in her. Moms are corny like that.

So today,
I sawyer crush, I wanted to drop some flirty hints, but I couldn't. I realized I was scared to sent signals to him. I don't want to be rejected, have the whole school know who I like, and feel hurt!!!

Hey girl, trust me when I say the whole school isn't going to know who you like or judge you for it. People don't care that much about any other person's love life, despite what TV shows might portray (trust me, I went through middle and high school; they really don't). I think it's perfectly natural for you to be nervous around your crush. For now, don't focus on sending flirty signals to him. Focus on talking to him and getting to know him as a friend. The flirting can come later when you're more comfy with him.

Hey girl, by being yourself and hinting you like him. However, keep in mind you can't make ANY guy like you. All you can do is hint to him you're interested in him and see how he takes it.

i tell my mom evrything. shed be fine if i had a crush nd stuff but shes taught me to not grow up in the drama. mayb if my skool wus a LOT less drama free, things wud be diffrnt...but mom wud be fine wit it. dad is anothr story...lolz he dusnt even kno me, so if he dusnt get involvd, better for me...
