My lips are always super chapped in the winter. What can I do to make them stop peeling and getting painfully dry?
Oh, girl, I so feel your pain! I’m sure you’re probably tired of being told to put on lip balm, but if you do it religiously, it does work. Unfortunately, it’s not a one-and-done type of cure: You’ll have to keep slathering it on to avoid your lips drying out on you again. But trust me, ditching the cracked skin it totally worth it…especially when it’s time to pucker up.
Here are a few of my favorites…
Need some Neosporin
Truth: It doesn’t taste great. But chances are you’ve got it in your medicine cabinet already. A fingertip-full before bed will leave your lips smooth in the morning. Also check out their Lip Health line.
Gooey goodness, care of Kiehl’s
I keep a pot of this waxy wonder balm by my sink. It’s a good reminder: When ya wash your hands, reapply the balm!
OK, I know it sounds silly, but this new find of mine is incredible and perf for your purse. It heals lips right up and has SPF!
