What's with the sudden dizziness?

Lately I have been feeling sudden waves of dizziness that last 10 seconds. It's annoying because, well, who likes being dizzy?! I’m not on my period and I’m not sick, except for a sore throat. What do you think it could be?

If you're not feeling so great, it might be time to go see a doctor and find out what's up. If you've got sore throat, it sounds like you might be coming down with something, like a sinus infection. It's probably not super serious, but it never hurts to get checked out.

If you're really not sick, another explanation is that your body is just a little off. For example, if I get dehydrated, haven’t slept well or haven't been eating very well, sometimes I get headaches or feel a little dizzy.

Make sure you’re eating three balanced meals each day—yes, breakfast, too! You need protein, carbs and healthy fats to keep your body going, not to mention lots of important vitamins and minerals. You might need to start taking a multivitamin, but definitely talk to your doc first.
