There is a boy I like, but only as a friend. We sit together every day at lunch,  and every day we have to put up with kids bugging us about “going together.” They should concentrate on their own lives and let us eat our lunch in peace! What do you think?

MOD, After school every day even though I'm 11 I have to go to daycare and I always miss out on things with my friends and it's only abot 2 more monthes 'til I don't have to go there anymore. But whenever I think about all I miss out on I always get upset. Do you have any tips for me to feel better?

MOD I am going to a performing arts school for high school next year and I'm sooo excited! But the school is 45 minutes away from where I live, so its hard for my parents to drive me there everyday. They say I may have to take the public transprtation (i.e bus) and I'm nervous because its all the way down in Denver! What should I do to calm my nerves?, I'm afraid something bad will happen to me when taking the public bus. Sorry this is long and a bit confusing, I've just never taken public transportation before.

 

 

Hey girly girl! I've taken public transportation a lot, and it's totally safe! Just use the same precautions you would take if you were out by yourself anywhere else (like the mall). Maybe, sit up front, near the driver, the first few times. And, let them know that you're new to this and afraid of missing your stop. Sure, there can be some "interesting" people on public transportation, but there are everywhere. Maybe, bring a book or magazine to read during your ride. Also, keep your bag close to you (like you would anywhere). But honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. Just use common sense and you'll be fine. And, do your homework ahead of time (as in finding the most direct bus route, so that you don't have to make transfers to different buses, or walk far to your school).

the same thing happens with me!
"popular" girls come up to us in the hall or at lunch and say, "you guys make a cute couple"[but very sarcasticly]
and other people say stuff like "are you two going out?" "are you dating?" to "when did you guys start dating?"
its so annoying that one time i yelled "Dude, Guys and Girls CAN be friends you know!"

MOD MOD MOD My friend, Gina and I said that we'd be mad at these 2 girls named Callie and Amethyst because they're mean to us, and they made up a lie that we called them whores and stuff. They told the principal on us and we are really nervous to get called down. What do we say? We didn't do anything! Please help! ~ Alice

 

Just be honest.  Let them know that you really did not do anything.   I know it's scary, but if you didn't do anything wrong, hopefully they will believe you.  Hang in there!  xoxo
