He wrote me a note. Now what?

 
Last week, I gave this guy a note telling him I like him. He wrote back a really nice note. But then he asked this girl (who doesn’t like me) if he should go out with me. She told him no because we’d make a “terrible” couple.

 

Dave: Written communication can be special. I’ve learned more about some girls from texts and e-mails than face-to-face encounters. Written emotions have the advantage of reflection and don’t come with the awkwardness of social interaction.

 

Since your note was well-received, send another. Without blasting the other girl, mention some reasons you two would make a good couple.

 

Bill: A relationship should be about you two, not outsiders. Tell the guy you don’t care what other people think, you like him. See how he responds. If he’s more interested in the opinions of others, you’ve saved yourself some hassle by finding out early on.

there's this guy who i like and we r best friends. we have gone out before, and we really like each other. but hee broke up with me telling me because another friend of mine told him she liked him. but we talk a lot on facebook and he flirts with me and he even does it in person too, only its playful flirting so as to not hurt his gf.i beleive he trys too he tries too hard to make everybody happy, he's such a sweetheart, but i worry about him.but how do i know he really wants me as a gf again?

Bonjour chicky! It's great that you guys remained friends after you broke up but would you really want to be his girlfriend after he broke up with you for another girl. I'm sure he's a great guy, but when you're someone's gf, you should be the #1 girl in his life instead of someone he's trying out till another girl comes along. I would move on and look for other potential bfs while keeping this guy in the friend zone.

MOD! Alright, Well I like this guy, who was in my art history class(I like never told anyone that I liked him), and we sat next to each other all semester,and one of his buddies(..They are kind of friends, but not like they hang out all the time...) said twice "oh can't you just see amanda(me) and ryan(the guy I like, and was sitting next to) getting married one day?" His buddy kinda likes to tease people so I don't exactly know what to think of it.. I don't know if there is really some reason he said it, or just to push me and ryan's buttons... Any Ideas? Thanks!! =)

 

 

Hey chickadee! That's tough to say. But, it seems like he can obviously sense some chemistry between you two! I'd keep talking to this guy and see where it goes Smile

Ok so my ex and i have become great friends since the break-up (he broke up with me), and he actually flirts with me alot, he's still as sweet as he was before. but a few weeks ago he told me that he liked me again, but that hes just not ready to date, and that if in highschool i still like him, that he would want to go out again. so i'm wondering, is it worth it?

 

 

Hey girly! I'd be cautious with this one. After all, you don't want to get hurt again! Keep your guard up a little. Why should everything be on his terms, and all about when he wants then?

I really like this guy but he has a girlfriend. I get really jealous, but since nobody knows who I like, I keep my cool. The only good thing is that we are partners in things. But we never had a convo. I think he likes me, but I could just be imagining it. I see him looking ate sometimes, but I sorta think it was a time and place thing. I just have the question of, can guys tell if the girl likes him. Because I look at him, alot. But he doesn't see. Can anyone tell I like him?

Bonjour chicky! Guys can be pretty oblivious to these sort of things. Sometimes it's not until the girl flat out tells him she likes him that he'll finally get it.
