Rock tough boots and lace like Elle Fanning

We always get super psyched when we see our fave stars’ younger siblings hitting the Hollywood scene. And now, Elle Fanning (yep, lil’ sis to Dakota) is officially on our style radar. You may have seen her in Because of Winn-Dixie and she just wrapped her new film Somewhere, which she worked on with star director Sofia Coppola. But it’s this tough yet flirty look from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse red carpet that really steals the show. Love the look? Here’s how you can get her playful style for less!

A lace top is flirty and feminine. We love the vertical detailing, which is super slimming and the black and white colors, which give it a totally classic feel.

To give a free-flowing top some shape, find a skinny belt to fit around the smallest part of your waist. A sweet black bow belt ups the playfulness, without being too cutesy.

Fitted black pants are always a classic, and way more interesting than jeans. This high-waisted pair is the perf cut to elongate legs and accentuate cute curves.

Add a bit of punk with a pair of tough-girl combat boots. When paired with feminine details, these borrowed-from-the-boys boots look cool, not scary. To keep them from being too edgy, replace the laces with black satin ribbon.
