Is it just me or is there chocolate and red velvet cupcakes everywhere ya look? Yep, Valentine’s Day weekend means nearly endless bad-for-ya temptations. And while it’s OK to indulge from time-to-time, I figured I’d share some some easy, healthy ways to show your bod the love.

Take an hour just for you.
Weekends can be crazy-busy. This weekend, set aside an hour to do something you totally love (or do nothing at all!). The one requirement? It’s gotta be good for you. My weekend is nutty, but I’m excited to take some time tonight to try a new workout and get a li’l crafty. I’ll hang out with buds and do my chores a bit later, but the evening is kicking off with a bit of a ME fest.

Bypass the chocolate-strawberries...
...and reach for their all-natural cousins instead. I looove making the better-for-me decision, especially when it’s tricky. And, turns out, exerting a bit of willpower helps to build willpower for later. Cool, right? So treat yourself to your fave fruit and smile just a bit knowing you’re doing something fab for your body. I will be noshing on yummy honeybells when I need a bite of something sweet.

Give yourself a couple of compliments.
Raise your hand if you’re speedy to toss your BFF a sweet remark, but are slightly slower to shower yourself with the same good vibes. I know I can be guilty of this. Be extra nice to y-o-u this weekend, especially if you’re prone to body bashing or being a bit on the negative side. You, girl, are totally fab and should treat yourself that way!

whenever i read magazines, (like seventeen&&even girlslifee) i always see the models who are super thin and have perfect skin&&hairr.. then i always think "god, i wish i had her thighs/abs/skin/eyes/hair." i know that im thin&&healthy&&have okay skin..but how do i stop thinking all of that " i wishh..".
also, i really like this guy, and he always flirts with me..but he flirts with everyone&& even told me he liked a girl in the grade ahead of us. how do i get over him?

MODMODMOD!
Ok, so I'm in the 8th grade and I recently decided that I want to be on drill team next year for freshman year. Problem is I don't have any dance experience and tryouts are in two months. I live in a small town and there aren't many dance organization around here. The ones that are here I can't afford. I'm already working on doing the splits, but I'm afraid I won't be able to do them in time. I also need to learn to leap. My sister says I can't leap unless I build up the muscles in my thighs. Are there any excercises that will help with that. Plus, are there any stretches that will quicken the splits process. I know these things take time, but I don't really have that time. If you think I should just give it up, please tell me. And if there are other things I need to learn, please let me know.
