Old school cassette iPod case

 
Whether you love the ‘80s or not, you’ll totally fall for this super cute iPod case. Pick your fave colors and the label of your choice (we like “I’m a Belieber,” too) and rock on, girl!

What you’ll need:

 

1 piece of colored felt plus scraps in different colors

Matching embroidery thread

Needle

 

What you’ll do:

 

1. Cut two pieces of felt just a little larger than your iPod or MP3 player. You’ll need contrasting colored felt scraps to make the “bottom” of the cassette tape” (gray in the photo above), the part where the tape is wound (white and gray) and the label (white).

 

2. Embroider an “X” on the cassette reel (white circles on the tape).

 

3. Embroider your message on the label.

 

4. Use a running stitch to attach all of the pieces to the front of the iPod case and a whip stitch to close three of the four sides. Leave the top open so you can slip in your iPod.

***MOD MOD MOD***
So today in 5th hour, we had 10 minutes left and the teacher let us move around and talk. My crush sits by my friends but he had gotten up to throw somthing away. While he was gone I sat on his desk (not the chair part the actual desk part) and when he came back he just sat down and talked like it was normal. He also smiled alot and walked with me to 6th hour ( which we also have together). ONe girl said I was trying to hard. Do you think taht was trying to hard? And do you think he might like me?
Also, I got an email saying my profile was aproved but no one can see it. None of my profiles have ever been aproved. I've had 3. What gives?

Hey girlie. I wouldn't say that you were trying to hard. I'm not sure if he likes you, but the fact that you guys walk to class together is a good sign. Your profile might not have been approved because you used your real name. We want to make sure everyone is safe, so be sure to come up with something that doesn't have your name in it.

mod mod mod! So my sister is turning seventeen for her next birthday, and i am going to give her seventeen gifts throughout the day. I was wondering if their were any cheap craft ideas (i am using the ipod case idea) because i still need a couple more ideas to get to seventeen. Thanks!!

 

 

Hey girly girl! You could always get a blank picture frame at a craft store, paint it yourself, then put a photo of the two of you in it. Or, you could make her a cute flower headband. Just wrap a thin headband with ribbon, using glue or a hot glue gun (careful!). Then, cut out circles of felt, each one getting smaller. Place them on top of each other, biggest on bottom and smallest on top. Glue to the side of the headband, and glue a pearl or bead in the middle. Voila!
