Forbidden to fix my unibrow

 
I have a unibrow! My friends and family make fun of it, but Mom says I can’t touch it ‘til 9th grade. Help!

 

Usually what Mom says goes, but when you’re being made fun of for something that’s so easy to fix, it seems silly to let the fun ‘n’ games continue at your expense.

 

Take action

Pull your mom aside and have a serious heart-to-heart. Tell her you totally respect her decision, but that your unfortunate unibrow is seriously affecting your self-esteem. Give her a blow-by-blow of all the mean comments you’re subjected to and tell her that if people weren’t laughing at your looks, you wouldn’t mind as much.

 

Fix the sitch

Now it’s time to ask her to help you fix it. You don’t have to go to a salon to have a pro pluck or wax, and you don’t have to groom the rest of your eyebrows, but she could totally pluck the middle for ya…and you’d still technically be following her rules.

MOD MOD MOD Usually I wax my eyebrows but whenever I do, I always end up getting pimples where I was waxed and it drives me nuts and I have sensitive skin. Is this normal? Can I do anything to prevent this from happening? Is this because of an allergic reaction/sensitive skin? Help!

 

 

Hey girl. It could be the wax you are using. Looking for one for sensitive skin or have it done by a professional. Also consider other options like threading.

I have really bad eyebrows, and both my mom and I want to get them fixed. I know Ulta will pluck them, so I think that's where I'll get them done, but I'm nervous about doing them. Any tips?




Hey girl,

If any of your friends get their eyebrows done, see where they go and if they recommend anyone. If you do go to Ulta, make sure that the woman doesn't pluck too much, but just gives you a basic outline and shaping. x0x0

Hey girl,

No sweat - eyebrows are totally easy to tame, once you know how! Read this article for tips on how to pluck to perfection...and remember, DON'T go crazy! You can always pluck more hairs away, but you can't glue hairs back on Tong

Mod after I got my period it's been hurting more when I get my eyebrows waxed. Is there any way to ease the pain?

 

 

Hey girly girl! Before you wax, make sure to steer clear of caffeine, as it can make your skin more sensitive. Also, if you do it at home, try going to a professional Smile
