What's bugging Bailey Blecker?

Ever been the new girl? Bailey Blecker has.

She just transferred to a new school and no longer has her trusty BFF by her side. It’s been hard staying best friends now that Bailey and Olivia are at two different schools, but Bailey’s hoping her birthday sleepover will be just what they need. That is until it gets canceled.

Lice have taken over Bailey’s school—and her head. Now, she lost her babysitting job, her sleepover and they want her to now cut the locks she’s been growing out to donate. Not fair! Bailey’s always been persistent and stubborn, but how much can she hold out for during this epidemic? The other kids are wearing bandanas and buzzing their heads in order to avoid any visits from the lice.

Will these bugs destroy any chance for Bailey to make new friends, while also keeping her old ones? Grab a copy of Gail Donovan’s What’s Bugging Bailey Blecker? (available now) to find out.

Ever had to deal with a (gross!) lice outbreak in school? Blog about it, babes.
