Get rid of poofy hair for good! Forget sulking into spring with a fuzzy mop, we’ve got easy frizz-busters that’ll make your locks shiny and smooth. Whether your hair is curly, straight or somewhere in between, we’ve got your coif covered.

To get to the point, frizz shows no preferences--any hairtype can be affected, though most frizz starts with dry hair. Use a super moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to combat dryness at the root.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hydrating Shampoo, $6, target.com

After showering, curly-haired chicas should apply a styling cream to wet hair. Find one that’s specially formulated for thick, curly hair and smooth it over any areas that are particularly frizzy, like the ends. Living Proof Styling Cream works by coating hair with a  protective barrier that actually eliminates frizz while defining your curls.

Living Proof Styling Cream, $14, sephora.com

After drying and styling, straight-haired sistahs can touch up any flyaways with a glossing cream that acts like a serum and conditioner in one. Use a dime-sized amount when applying to keep strands silky smooth without weighing them down.

Fekkai Glossing Cream, $9, bathandbodyworks.com

Got dry, brittle tresses? A pre-shampoo treatment will leave locks lustrous and full of body (and nary a misplaced hair in sight). It’s chock full of nutrients like coconut, jojoba and almond oil to keep hair looking and feeling its best for days to come.

Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Eaze, $22, lushusa.com

Use an anti-frizz hairspray to lock in your look after styling. Find one that’s made to fight frizz, like Moroccanoil Luminous Hair Spray which blocks humidity and adds shine while leaving hair bouncy and full of life. Ingenious!

i hav 2 besties tht CANNOT straighten their hair! its almost impossible.

one has really thick wavy hair. its sorta... WILD. it almost looks like a giant tangled mess & it wont strighten at all!

the other has thick wavy hair too, but not as curly & tangled as the 1st girl. her hair can actually straighten, but it takes a really long time & she has to use alot of hairspray.

my hairs preatty thick & wavy too, but im super glad that i dont have to threaten my hair into straightening! ;) lol

My hair is thick and curly and can look like a huge poofy mess!! I've tried all different types of hair product but none seem to work for me! Is there a certain product you reccomend?? I like to take showers at night and sleep with my hair in a braid for the school year, so I would like a product that can be put in dry hair please!!! Help!!!

I have super straight hair and its starting to get frizzy and I want to prevent it from getting frizzier! I always blowdry my hair on "high-warm" after I wash it. I used wash it every morning and this week I started washing my hair every other morning. Are there ways to prevent or unfrizz frizzy hair with hair products or anything else?

hey! check this out http://www.girlslife.com/post/2011/02/22/How-to-fight-frizz.aspx
