Pretty petite bow headband

 
I fell head over heels for this headband, crafted by Sara, the self-appointed Craft Snob of craftsnob.com.  From the teensy, so-perfect bow to the just-right splash of color, this craft makes the perfect DIY spring accessory.

 

What you’ll need:

 

Ribbon (Sara used velvet ribbon)

Hot glue gun (and glue)

Skinny metal headband

 

What you’ll do:

 

1. Cut a strip of ribbon one inch longer than the length of the headband. Use hot glue to attach the ribbon to one end of the headband, leaving half an inch overhang.

 

2. Add a little more hot glue, and fold under the half inch overhang. Dab a little hot glue every 2 inches along the outer side of the headband to attach the ribbon. Hot glue the other end of the ribbon down and fold under.

 

3. Make a small bow as shown step-by-step on Sara's blog.

 

4. Use hot glue to attach the bow to the headband.

Plz help my mom lives in a different country so how am i going to give her something for mothers day?

 

Hey gal!

I am sorry your mom lives so far away. You can always mail her something. I know postage might be a little pricey but it will be definitely worth it! Do you guys have a Skype account? Skype is an application which you can download and call and video chat for free on. Then she will get to see your face, what a great Mother's Day gift Smile Make sure that both of your have web cams on your computers. Then you can set up two accounts: one for you and one for her and email her the account/user name information.  Then you can chat whenever you want! I did this a lot over the summer when my BFF was studying abroad in Europe. I hope this helps!

MOD I just bought some foundation and i was wondering how you like to apply foundation (if you wear it). Should I apply it with brush or a sponge or what? Thanks!




Hey girl, usually the best way to apply foundation is with a facial sponge. They sell the foundation sponges at sephora or even a huge page of them at your local grocery store. They look like white triangles or circles.
