Disney fairytales we'd like to adapt

This modern-day adaptation of Beauty and the Beast is sure to be a hit with Vanessa Hudgens in the role of the Belle and Alex Pettyfer as the Beast. Which got our brains thinkin’, what other Disney classics would we want to see modernized? And who would we cast? Check out our top five movie choices…and the beauties we want to be in them!

    Sleeping Beauty

    Blake Lively – Aurora

We know she’s got the beauty part down, now we just have to make sure she can sleep.

    Zac Efron - Prince Phillip

Because who wouldn’t want to wake up from a long sleep and see Zac Efron standing there?

  • lady-tramp.jpg
    Lady and the Tramp

    Chelsea Kane – the Lady

With Chelsea’s posh haircut, we could totally see her playing it up as an upper class socialite.

    Chace Crawford – the Tramp

He may play an Upper East Sider on Gossip Girl, but we think he’d make a gorgeous grunge rocker.

  • little-mermaid.jpg
    The Little Mermaid

    Bella Thorne – Ariel

OK, it’s true. The red hair is the main reason, but her bubbly and vivacious personality def fit her for the part.

    Robbie Amell – Prince Eric

Known for his role as Jimmy on True Jackson, VP, he would make a totally handsome prince!

  • aladdin.jpg

    Shay Mitchell – Jasmine

We have no doubt she would play a fab caring and loyal daughter with a precious kitten by her side.

    Taylor Lautner – Aladdin

Aladdin doesn’t wear a shirt in most of the movie. And, well, we all know Taylor has the abs to fit that role.

  • pocahontas.jpg

    Nicole Anderson – Pocahontas

This cutie shows off her mean side in Mean Girls 2, but we know she could paint all the colors of the wind.

    William Moseley – John Smith

You may know him better as Peter of Narnia. His Brit background and handsome features make Will the perf candidate for Pocahontas’ better half.

Be sure to come back tomorrow for our review of Beastly!

Which Disney fairytales would you want to redo? Who would you cast? Blog about it, babes.
