I think she's a great role model BECAUSE she got over these things. Some people think "Oh, she cut herself, that's so horrid and wrong and she shouldn't be looked up to, blahblahblah.." Well that's a real-life problem that real-life girls sometimes have to deal with. Does that make them a horrible person? Heck no, this shows she's real. It bugs me how celebs are only thought of as good role models when they do things for charity (which of course is a good thing, i just mean there's not much else). She's strong because she got over this.

i respect that she got help. i however, don't think that she is a gr8 role model. she waited 2 long to get help. i look up 2 her bcuz she recognized her problems and got help, but she shud have gotten help WAY sooner. i also blame Joe Jonas. i know he didn't mean 2 rub Ashley Greene in her face, but come on. he brought her on tour WITH Demi, like a week after their breakup. have some class, Joe!!!

@nanafofanna she went to rehab for depression/eating disorders as far as i kno. it was something she had the problhems for awhile too, i guess
