I have an amazing boyfriend. We’ve been together about a year, and we complement each other nicely. My problem is: I’m only 16. I’m starting to wonder if maybe I should be looking around, dating other people, and not committing myself to him so early.

He is thinking about going abroad on a program with me this summer, but, to be honest, I’m starting to wonder if maybe I love him only as a best friend and not as a boyfriend. Where’s the line? I don’t want to lose him forever…but I’m not sure I want to be with him forever either.

You don’t have to decide yet about forever. One difference between guy friends and boyfriends is chemistry. (Another is commitment.) If you no longer feel like cuddling up with your boyfriend, pay attention to this sign.

Can you tell him you feel ambivalent about his going abroad with you because you think a little independence might be healthy for you both? I have been talking to my ex more. We flirt, and everything. But I'm not sure if he's just being friendly. He seems to show interest, in me, but he does that to my bff too,(which he liked a few months ago.)so should i just keep talkining to him and see if he really likes me again or what?

is it ok to like a boy whos 6 years older or less? i dont think its that big of a deal because i have grandparents are 10 years appart.but ive heard that you shouldnt daite or like a boy whos more than 3 years older than you.




Hey girlie -- it all depends on how your parents feel about it. I understand your point, but parents look at that as adults who are years apart and together, not young girls Smile

My best friend and I like the same guy.He goes to our school and he's so nice to both of us. I only talk to him on facebook and she asked him for his #. I was upset that she did that because i cant use my phone to text and she knows this. It bothers me when she says oh he texted me. i REALLY like him, but i dont know how to tell her that she hurt my feelings in fear we will lose our friendship.

Hey girl, I think you do have to be open about this. It's hard when friends compete for the same guy, but you two do need to talk it over. Ultimately who this guy goes with is his choice, but you two may find it's easier for you to both let go of him and go after new guys. Your friendship is worth more.

MOD MOD!!!! Im so tired of people telling me that my crush is too old for me. He's 24 and im 16. I told him I have a crush on him, and he said that its ok cuz I'll have tons of crushes. But he's different. Im wondering if i love him. I know right now he is too old, but once i turn 18, age is just a number right? Please help!!

 

 Hey girlie. Everyone has a different opinion on that. When it comes down to it, you're the one who will be dating that person and if age doesn't bother either of you, then I don't see anything wrong with it. Parents are another issue though and might have a different opinion. I wouldn't try to pursue anyone too much older than you until you are 18 though. Good luck!
