I am in the cool clique. It’s more like a club. We have two presidents (they are the coolest), and I am one of them. Last week, a nerdy girl asked if she could be in our clique. Two people said, “Give her a chance.” Two others said, “Are you kidding?” Now, it’s my decision. I think we should give her a chance, but I’d rather eat a tapeworm than lose my coolness!

Dear Coolest,

You obviously like people to think highly of you. That’s understandable. But you need to think well of yourself too, and not let your self-image depend on what your friends think. How will you feel if you don’t give the girl a fair chance? You already know how she will feel. Try not to be too exclusive. The coolest people I know are the warmest, most accepting and most open to others.

so im in 8th grade, and ive been with the same people in my class for years and years. next year im finally going to a new skool-high skool that is. lots of the people from my middle skool are coming to the same skool as me so they know what im like. i have a rep for being kind of over dramatic and stuff like that. i want to go into highskool being laid back and just chill. what are some good tips for me to just have fun when i go into highskool, and how do i finish off the skool year right? i know i still have a couple more months, but i want to change myself now because lots of people dont like me anymore and they have a reason not to. thanks!

Bonjour chicky! If you wanna to appear more laid back, then the first thing you need to do is to stop worrying about how other people think of you. When you worry like that, you hence become paranoid thus causing a dramatic effect. Also, people think you're cooler when you don't care what they think (weird right, but that's reverse psychology for you). Another thing you can do that can help you appear chill in bring in more relaxing activities in your life such as drinking calming teas such as "Yogi Calming Daily Stress Relief Tea" and taking on yoga. All these activities will allow you to be the smoothest kid in school.

Hey girlie. Don't worry too much about it. That is their job. They have ways of talking to shyer people. So, just go in there and be yourself. Good luck.

Ok, so I'm in the clique which is the second most popular group in our school. But the most popular has been making fun of us verbally and physically and when we tell a teacher the boys only get in trouble even though the girls pretty much do all the damage, my friends and I get in trouble,or they get a warning. This is not fair and it's happened dozens of times. We tell them every time it happens and the teachers do NOTHING. My two best friends since it's gotten so bad they say "Watch the news your gonna see my face on the screen with the word Suicide above it." I really hate this and they also wanna transfer to another school and I also wanna tell my parents but I don't know how and last time I told them the always say "What harm can a 12 year old girls do?" A lot. Juvie next year if they do this. What should I do??? Help ASAP!

Hey girlie. I know-girls can be totally vicious. Try talking to the school guidance counselor(S) about it. They should have some suggestions. Also, tell your mom. Tell her so she understands how awful it's becoming and how hurt you are. Also, remember that these girls are probably just jealous and feeling intimidated by you guys. Try not to let them get to you. Good luck.

The Girl you just called fat? She has been starving herself. The Boy you just called stupid? He has a learning disability & studies over 4hrs a night. The Girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The Boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. Put this as your status if you're against bullying...
