In light of the recent tragedies around the world, we’re really taking the time to be thankful for all of the little things we have in life right now. And while material objects like books, CDs, video games and flicks aren’t nearly as important as the larger scale things, sometimes it’s the smallest of items that can slap a quick smile on our face.
We’re lucky to have our health, family, friends. And, in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, why not share a few teensy entertainment items we’re also fortunate enough to have. Here are four different things that, even when life gets tough, can make us a tad cheery.

It’s songs like this that keep us going! The opening lyrics are “When it comes to me, I wouldn’t want to be anybody else.” It reminds us to not listen to what others say. The only thing we need to remember is how beautiful we all are, and that’s something we can definitely feel lucky about.

OK, so she may be big EVERYWHERE, but let’s face it, Taylor’s songs and values are something to remind us of our good luck. No matter who you are, this megastar has a song that can describe your life. Always humble and calm, we’re happy this country sweetheart hasn’t let the fame get to her head.
Video Game: Dance Central
Do you have the newest Xbox 360 addition? This Kinect experience will give you a work out without ever having to go to the gym! Not only can you get your dance on, but you can do it to some of your fave songs, too. From Lady GaGa’s “Just Dance” to Jay Sean’s “Down” we feel pretty lucky to have video games like this to give us a break from all that silly HW.
