Create a fun circuit to do at home

Circuit training can be a no-fail way to shape up fast. We chatted with celeb trainer Joey Gonzalez of Barry’s Bootcamp for the how-to on creating a circuit at home. Pop on some upbeat music and get ready to have a blast while you torch calories!

It’s all about creating stations. Joey says to write 6 cardio exercises and 6 strength training exercises on note cards. “Shuffle them separately and set one of each on the floor face down in six different spots in a room,” he tells us. “As you move from station to station, alternate doing each for one minute. After getting through them, have shuffle again and repeat. Four rounds would be a full hour!”

Here are some of our suggestions for moves:

Cardio
Jumping jacks
Squat jumps
Jumping rope
Jogging in place
Walking lunges
Frog jumps
Starburst jumps
Burpees

Strength
Lunges
Squats
Bicep curls
Tricep dips
Crunches

Need a quick way to get your cardio in for the day? Jump rope for 5-10 minutes to work up a sweat and strengthen calves.

If you could go on an unlimited shopping spree in any kind store, where would you go?
