I kinda agree with artsygal and bandnerds41698! Thise dresses are completely TO DIE FOR and I can tell that GL has a totally amazing sense of style, but i also kinda wish that these were the kinda dresses my mom would let me buy!

ok im a red head so some colors i look ugly in, and i would like to get some spring dresses above the knee but most the colors they use in spring dresses are the colors i look bad in HELP




Hey girlie,

I have red hair too, so trust me - we CAN wear spring colors!! My favorites are lavender, banana yellow, fresh greens, white, champagne/gold/tan, white with red bottoms (pants/skirts), and sky blue. If your hair is dark enough, you could also pull of a very pale tangerine - which is a big color for this spring! Just stay away from most pinks and lighter shades of red. As long as you walk with confidence and you try on clothes before you buy, you'll totally rock springtime! Smile

Hey chica! Depends on what you guys are doing! If you're going out, try the dark wash jeans with a cute shirt. If you're just hanging out at home, casual is great! If they're your bffs, you shouldn't have to go all out to impress them.

Hey I've got this dress that I'm planning to wear for end-of-the-school-year stuff, and I don't know what to wear with it! It's a spaghetti strap with a defined waist, and it's go a bunch of plaid on it. Its a simple black and white setup, but I'm bad with making dresses look good on me!
Any suggestions?




Hey girlie. If it's black and white, you can go a ton of routes with it. Pick what type of jewelry you want- silver, gold, etc, and then try on a bunch of different combos to see which looks good. Go for a fun, colorful pair of heels. Have fun!

Your spring ball sounds like fun! I would suggest you look through some hairstyle magazines or online to find a hairstyle you like and show it to your hairdresser. Or you could ask for a simpler hair style that you know will look good with your hair. Whatever you have done to your hair, I am sure it will look gorgeous! As for Carson, don't worry about whether or not he wants to dance with you. Everyone is there to have fun, and you should enjoy this special occasion. If you want to ask him to dance, go for it. Tonight I have this formal dance called a Cotillion Spring Ball, where I wear a white gown, and the guys were tuxes and everything. I'm excited, but I have a few problems that need help:
1. I'm getting my hair done into a curly updo professionally. What if I don't like it? My appointment is only for an hour, so what if we don't have time to fix it?
2. There's this other girl, Sophia, who is going to the ball, too. At previous casual dances, Sophia and I have both slow danced with him. Sophia likes this guy Carson as much as I do. There have been rumors that Carson likes Sophia, even though Sophia isn't allowed to date. I'm just worried because I really like him, and I don't want him to feel like he HAS to dance with me at girl's choice or boy's choice. What do I do?

MOD MOD MOD MOD MOD Dear mod, im having lots of problems with my bff emmy. well old bff. We are currently not talking to each other, because of some stupid reasons. I have a BF, but im going to break up with him because he cheated on me, and we are having lots of problems. But my BF is her close friend so she gets an attitude if we talk about him, or if i get angry with him. Shes always putting me down and being rude to me even though she says shes not. I was talking to her on facebook, and all of a sudden she was just like " i thought you knew everything, and you sure act life it" i was so hurt! so i stopped talking to her. Then she was talking about me behind me back, calling me annoying and overly-dramatic. She then posted something saying "sometimes you have to get rid of the drama and the people that cause it in your life." and lately shes always saying stuff like that. Worst of all none of my friends are supporting me! So anyways, it dosnt matter what she says or does, they still go along with her and never say anything to her when she does something mean. This would all be fine (well not really but better) if i didnt have health class with her! I used to hang out with her and this boy named Cameron in Gym class, but i messed it up with him because he asked if i "liked" him and I said no, but i didnt mean to hurt his feelings. Now, i have no idea who to hang out with now, because i have a few friends in there but they are already apart of their little "groups." these days i feel like nobody is on my side or ever cares about me. I know everyone feels like this in middle school, but it still hurts. SORRY, for the longggg message, But thanks so much in advance Laughing

Hey girl, so sorry to hear all that. Trust me when I say it gets better. People are so rough in middle school. I think what's important for you to do is a) take a breather from them. Break up with your BF and keep your space for a bit. Have a weekend to yourself and talk to your parents about this too. It'll help to have an adult to vent to who's over all this. Then b) have a heart to heart with your friend. Defend yourself. And if she's still a jerk to you and your friends follow? I'd suggest getting plugged into new activities. Meet new people. Don't be afraid to get into a new clique. You deserve friends who bring you up, not put you down.

two things:
1) i go to tennis everyday for like two hours. wen i get to practice im nvr hungury,but then wen i get home later i binge eat! its starting to affect my weight (like i should b loosing weight, but i jst end up gaining more!) and its fustrating me wat can i do 2 stop the binge eating?
2) i got my unifrom for tennis, and its a lil tight (theyre suppose to b; its made from like spandex) and i dont like how i look in it. my love handles and a little bit of my belly bulge out. wat can i do to at least tone them down a bit, so i dont look an omppa lomppa in it?
