Nine sweet tunes for your playlist


 
Despite the name, there’s no way this soundtrack will leave you with a sour taste. Songs from the upcoming Disney Channel Lemonade Mouth movie release today. And this nine-track album not only has some catchy jams, but juicy bonus treats, too.

While the first two songs introduce you to the softer side of the movie, track No. 3 “And the Crowd Goes,” sung by Chris Brochu is definitely a head banger. His other song “Don’t Ya Wish U Were Us?” is just the same. Both will have you jumping up and down to the sound of his rocker voice.

Think this new album falls right along the lines of the channel’s High School Musical? Think again. Many of the songs keep a mellow tone and really touch base on being “Somebody,” further emphasizing the theme of the flick that when all else fails, friends are always going to be there for you.

Some of our faves off the CD? “Determinate” and “She’s So Gone” are sure to have you singing at the top of your lungs. Sung by Naomi Scott, the latter tells the story of a girl who’s figuring out life and making changes—totally relatable.

Stuck on the line about whether to take a plunge into the lemon-y abyss? Let’s just say it’s a feel-good album and you won’t regret giving your ear buds a listen.

Ugh. And they call themselves a ROCKBAND?! I feel bad for the guys that have to play that girly music. I was excited for this movie... untill I heard that song.
