True or false: Underwire bras cause cancer

 
My mom won't let me buy an underwire bra because she says they give you breast cancer. Is this true? I’m really sick of wearing wireless bras…

 

The notion that underwire bras give you breast cancer popped up in the ‘90s, and thankfully, it’s just a myth. The idea was that underwire trapped toxins in the breast tissue, which could cause cancer, according to Scientific American.

 

Thankfully, that theory has never been supported by any research. Doctors point to the fact that it’s easier to demonize innocent things like bras instead of focusing on the more likely factors, such as hormones.

 

Phew!

in my opinion, underwire bras are not even comfortable. i stick with wireless. Smile

I have lice! We did everything we can but they won't go away!
I can see nits in my bangs and sides of my hair. I itch a lot and people look at me weird. Please HELP me!




Hey girlie -- you need to get an anti-lice treatment, such as Nix or Rid, as soon as possible and then de-lice your home and belongings (you should try Googling tips on the latter).

whoa i've never heard that myth but i'm glad it's not true 'cuz i've been wearing underwire bras for a couple years now it sucks that your mom won't let you get one but in her defence (not that i agree with it) nut she was just trying to protect you Smile Brittany G.

I have this kinda thin coat of hair on my back and neck. It bugs me because even though I have naturally tan skin, I have really dark hair, it's not too noticeable from a distance, but up close it's obvious and embarrassing. You can see it when I wear swimsuits, and some dresses and shirts. Can you give me some easy fixes for this?




Hey girlie -- have you ever tried using a depilatory, such as Nair or Veet?
