What you’ll need:
2 pints large, ripe strawberries
2 4-ounce bars of bittersweet or semisweet chocolate
What you’ll do:
1. Use a double boiler or create your own to melt the
chocolate. Place a heatproof bowl (think stainless steel or Pyrex) over a
medium-sized saucepan containing about an inch of simmering water. Place the
chocolate in the bowl and stir occasionally as it melts.
2. Wash the strawberries and leave on the stems. Dry on

time. You can use a spoon to cover them if you like. Cover about three-quarters
of the berry in chocolate. Lay dipped strawberries on a waxed paper-covered

right away or keep in the fridge until served.
Send your berries packing in a shirt-sized cardboard
box lined with waxed paper. Tie with a bright pink bow for mom or your BFF.
