Check these out, too...
2 pints large, ripe strawberries
2 4-ounce bars of bittersweet or semisweet chocolate
What you’ll do:
1. Use a double boiler or create your own to melt the chocolate. Place a heatproof bowl (think stainless steel or Pyrex) over a medium-sized saucepan containing about an inch of simmering water. Place the chocolate in the bowl and stir occasionally as it melts.
2. Wash the strawberries and leave on the stems. Dry on paper towels.
3. Dip the strawberries into the melted chocolate one at a time. You can use a spoon to cover them if you like. Cover about three-quarters of the berry in chocolate. Lay dipped strawberries on a waxed paper-covered tray.
4. When you’re finished dipping the berries, place the tray in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens. Eat right away or keep in the fridge until served.
