Dear Not As Fortunate,
It can be hard when other girls seem to have bigger houses
or newer clothes than you. But no matter how much you have, there is always
someone out there who has more. So rather than dwell on your comparisons and
what others have, you’re better off looking at what you do have. Do you have a
loving family? Are you rich in friends? What are your special talents? You say
you are not as fortunate, but money is not the only measurement. And I doubt
these girls are laughing at you anymore than you would laugh at a girl whose
home is smaller than yours.
SERIOUS STUFF? For serious issues, don’t wait.

Hey, don't feel bad. At my school everyone always dresses really sloppy and I feel weird because I dress really trendy. Try to ask your friends to help you fit in more. And don't feel bad, since having nice clothes and a big house doesn't equal happiness

In class one teacher started talking about my love life in the middle of class. The whole class was laughing at me and I if I said anything that teacher would get really mad. What should I do?

My advice to you is hang out with different groups. You are more likely to find people that have the same interests as you. Good luck!

I don't fit in too. To be honest, I do think people laugh behind my back andin my face. I know this sounds cliche, but just be yourself, otherwise it'll blow up in your face. But don't something stupid like pretending to be a prep or something. I'm weird, random, and freak. I'm proud to be what I am!

I'm preppy as heck. Hahahhahaha.

-absolutely everyone's confidence falters in school at SOME point, so while you may feel alone, chances are, A LOT of people are going through the same thing. So confide in someone trustworthy to lay your troubled thinking at ease.
by svds on 4/28/2011 7:26:08 PM
i don't fit in with preppy girls. But it's fine cause i am myself haha. i am my weird, odd, nice, random, freaky self! and i love it. haha (:

Never feel like you are the lesser person. Everyone is equal no matter what and never think of yourself as less you are equal to everyone no matter.
by star53 on 4/28/2011 3:00:59 PM
Hey, doll. Deep down, all of you know that material things don't equal status. Kindness and friendship are the biggest things. Dream big, and no one can laugh at your dreams when you achieve them. Besides, who can define 'nice clothes?' YOU CAN! Bohemian fashion, thrift store threads, and vintage hand-me-downs are all in. You make You, not your family's wealth. Knowing that is the greatest treasure.
by TheGothicGal on 4/28/2011 10:33:45 AM
Don't think that they're talking about you. That's how I used to always feel, like everyone talked about me behind my back and that kept me from being confident. You just gotta not care

Flavor: This flavor combines the best of both worlds—fruity strawberry and sweet vanilla.
Fab Fact: This blended treat is new this year in the Strawberry Lover's bag.
